I developed diabetes from taking risperdal back in 2001. I still have glucose dysregulation and neuropathy today, 21 years later after taking risperdal. The worst decision that I made was going on it to begin with. I took myself off of it in 2001 but it was too late.
You think people can give you this to mess your body up?
I took this for only 3 days, I passed out 3 times in a row on concrete thankfully my boyfriend was there to catch me. That was only .5 mg twice a day. I would have cracked my skull open otherwise. On the third day my hand was moving on its own all over the place. Not to mention I felt so flattened and couldn't breathe, my temp went from 96.3 to 99.6 to 96 again, and the top half of my body felt like it was burning while the bottom half was freezing. This does something to our brains and bodies that ISN'T supposed to happen.
My headaches are insane.

@@andycini6266 No I tried to just ride them out but kept getting them. So Im no longer taking it.
I was diagnosed with bipolar borderline personality disorder I was prescribed risperidone at the age of 17 years in a half years old, and had took end on and off from when I was 17 to 21 years old, I am now 28 years old, during the time I took it my body went through a lot of changes, my body hair started falling out of my legs and chest and I soon started developing breast, it hurted everytime I tried practicing my punches in the boxing gym or run long distances, it was bad enough I had very long hair already, even my girlfriends at the time started to notice and even a few of my guy friends did as well, I really wish I knew about this medication before taking it, this medication really ruined my life
I’m now on it it’s Ruinein my life right now I took a Monthly shot

I took Risperdal when I lost control of my moods probably due to autism, but the medication caused constipation and elevated prolactin for me. The only other thing I could do about my autism was join HAPPYneuron, and that has not only saved me money but has also taught me many things that a Psychology teacher might not even know about!
I have been given risperidone for asd issues and my blood pressure is fairly high. My kidney is not great. I have too much glucose and triglycerides are a bit high. My therapist did not discuss side effects and my husband is arguing against my theory, so I have taken matters into my own hands and stopped the meds ( only been on for a month, at 1mg and am interested to see what happens.
I rather deal with anger issues, than be very ill physically.
Sean Livingston me too and my parents keep insisting that why I’m more right than my psychiatrist who prescribed this risperdal because I skip days and not taking it sometimes hiding in the side of my mouth and throwing it at the bowl after 3mins of faking it.
@triniking6239 was given this for the exact same reason. Drug induced psychosis. And man. I stopped taking after 2 weeks. Was making me into a zombie...panic attacks. Emotionless. And had literally no will for anything. Feel much better now as it's been months but don't feel the same as before.
Nurse should talk about patient situation and what he want to doin future after when he rehabilitate. With violent patiens cause and affect. Use humor.

i take it for 2-3 years i get dvt and pulmonary embolism at my 29 of age i also get all the other side effects like ed low energy low strength and alot more i dont know of gyno if i get from that but its not much at least
What do you do if someone is putting this on your drinking water? Without the permission of a Doctor to cause you dementia? Can you call the cops on them?
I have bypoler and it made me gain 60+ pounds

Yeah I took it for autism and it got me looking like big chungus. So I'm off it now and I've not been as hungry. Shitty drug.

I have 0.5 mg of these and got told there are very little side effects and they won't nore shouldn't cause me any problems but people that have taken these before I take 1 is there truth in the statement that these pills are dangerous and can cause severe tiredness
