From 1815 until 1890, Luxembourg was personal property of the Dutch king, which then ended because of different inheritance rules in both countries. Both families are related to the Nassau (Dutch: Oranje-Nassau; Luxembourgish: Nassau-Weilburg), so that explains the similarities.

Vinjak gives you the worst hangovers, but it's so good to drink. Gorki list or pelinkovac is also great and bitter, and šljivovica is like the main type of rakija, made from plums, and for the most Serbians the best drink. Greatings from Serbia ☺️

About the letter you got from Fribourg, Switzerland: Nova Friburgo (New Fribourg) is a city here in Rio de Janeiro State, Brazil. It's a kind of winter touristic destination, because it's in the montain area and it's get cold (for a Rio standard) during the winter. Yes, it's called "The Brazilian Switzerland" and "national capital of the undergarment industry" :)
Even in the Netherlands, people don't really seem to know the difference between the flags of the Netherlands and Luxembourg. When you ask people to draw the Dutch flag, they often just don't care about which color they use and end up making the flag of Luxembourg instead.

In case you didn't get the explanation of the polish globe, this is an item from a mini series which shows current political affairs in funny/vicious way. The main character is a chairman of the ruling party, who rules the country from the back seat, and this globe stands in his office. The series got popularity, so they sell items like that.

I'd totally send something from East Lothian, Scotland, but shipping is way more expensive than it should be. I'd probably send some scottish bank notes, as 3 banks are allowed to print their own designs (hence the reason england thinks our money is fake, even though they're the same value, and we take english notes.)
