S&B Filters MAP Sensor Spacer Kit for the Duramax LP5 Review and Install. A gotta have for your LP5.

This is a review and install of the S&B Filters MAP Sensor Spacer Kit for the GMC, Chevy, LP5 Duramax Diesel. Your MAP sensor is in a place in the intake manifold where it gathers soot! In very little time you have a clogged sensor, poor performance, poor starting and a engine warning light. This spacer kit repositions the sensor out of the path of the soot, and is suppose to significantly reduce cleaning intervals. My sensor at 10,000 miles actually had a thick coating of soot, but still ok. However, by 30,000 I am sure it would become an issue.
This kit is super easy to install, ships fast, has great instructions, looks awesome and gives me piece of mind that I don't have to worry about a clogged sensor any time soon.

Where does the o ring go

It sits between the sensor and the sensor port on the exhaust manifold to ensure the sensor is sealed. Hope that helps. Sorry for not showing that more clearly.
