I love Roxette. My youngest daughter is autistic and when she was little she would only listen to Roxette on car journeys. If she was upset I would rush to put on a Roxette cd and she would stop crying! The power of music.

The best thing about this song is how amazing the background vocals are. That gal is phenomenal as well. Roxette ofcourse marie steals the show but the lady on background vocals is great too! Really comes through in the live version.

Roxette and this song brings up many emotions. She certainly makes you get into your feels and it beautiful. Keep in mind and tell your heart, if you did everything you were supposed to do and they broke up with you, maybe their was nothing wrong with you in the first place. I’ve never had a bad breakup, still friends with my exes. It’s about having that scary conversation about truth and reality. With a level of maturity and truth, no need for someone to be hurt or damaged. That’s life, the risk of growing apart will always be there, you can only hope you’re in sync.

Roxette is an incredible band, the musical ideas are so well thought out that almost all their songs were Hits, they have a lot of Feeling, and the melodies remain recorded even when the song is over, it is one of my favorite bands, greetings my friend from Chile

This was the song that made me cry when I heard it. Those chords mixing with that harmony, and her emotion-filled voice on the choruses--particularly second and third... I was ten, didn't have a clue how to relate to the song, but it brought me to tears.

Crush on you is a guitar driven banger, Waiting for the rain a 60's kind of big band melancholy ballad, Stars a techno banger with a children's choir in the chorus... The whole album is like a joyride, pun intended😉 the last 3 albums after their hiatus have so many gems on them as well. Charm school, Travelling and the last album Good karma. You won't be disappointed ♥️

Hi, friend. Roxette is a great group, they are very good. I recommend the song "Wish I Could Fly" it's a power-ballad with the typical Roxette sound, but with some elements that they hadn't used, it sounded more modern but with total Roxette identity, it's timeless, powerful, powerful, hypnotic, mysterious . And Marie's acting and feeling is amazing, with Marie's vocal technique wonderfully well.
Then there is 'It Just Happens' which is a duet between Per and Marie (even many verses sing together), Marie's voice although it seems more delicate is still strong, and here they also introduced new elements, recognizable typical Roxette sound with a surround sound "new".
And 'Things Will Never Be The Same', and 'Love Is All (Shine Your Light On Me)' sound with a beautiful atmosphere, you may be pleasantly surprised.
That of course Roxette also has great songs that are more "danceable" and fun.
You are very nice.

While doing some research on the band a few years back, I found out that the band was has always thought that this should have been their biggest song. It was from their 1991 album "Joyride" and was the 4th single. The others were all top-10 singles. EMI merged with another label to create EMI records and the change in leadership led to them not getting the support they once had. So the song didn't do well enough and the label just didn't make a push so it semi-flopped.
