A little about me and this channel:
My name is James Aubrey IV and I just recently graduated college from Iowa State University. After college I decided to take a leap of faith. So I moved to San Diego California to pursue my passion for videography/ CZcams. Overall I'm a pretty chill person, outside of CZcams I like to longboard, dance, play video games, lift weights and hangout with my friends. I know that success on CZcams won't happen overnight but I'm willing to stay patient and put in the work to try to prefect my craft daily. This CZcams channel will be centered around my life after college. You will be able to see all of the ups and downs on my journey to success. So if you like the content make sure you subscribe so you can be apart of the Rome Life Family. (Let's build our own personal Rome's together.)
What is the Rome Life ? And What does it mean to be apart of it?
Rome Life is something I started during my Sophomore year of high school (one of the worst times in my life) it started off as me documenting my journey to recovery from my shoulder surgery but eventually it turned into a platform that I could use to encourage myself as well as others to chase our dreams.
Rome Life isn't just a saying it's a way of life and for the people who want to be apart of it have to realize that. Rome wasn't built in a day it took a lot of handwork time and most importantly patience. So you can't expect your dreams to be any different
This is a reaction video used to educated and give my feedback on the song and artist

Have you done Marley's Redemption Song yet???? Put it on your to-do list!
^^this^^
I guess I'm kinda off topic but do anybody know of a good site to watch newly released movies online?
@Felipe Chandler I would suggest Flixzone. Just search on google for it =)
The voice of Bob Marley is the spiritual warm blanket for every living human
Bob marley
Redemption song
Three little birds
You could be loved
three little birds my ass
It’s “could you be loved”
there are better songs than the ones on your greatest hits cd or legend. Some of these have even been used in commercials. Maybe a song from Catch a Fire, Burnin', Natty Dread, Talkin' Blues. With so many great songs if you're a fan you should be introducing the other songs. My 2 cents
I love 3 little birds
Love me some Bob Marley! Talk about soul, talk about truth...this man knew it. This man felt it. This man sang it!
Bob Marley was a legend a peace loving man, and his songs say it all
That is a true truth. Bob Marley was all about peace through the power of song.
@@TheMyrmo Bob also sang some revolutionary songs
He also had 7 women and 17 kids with them... He cheated on them constantly.
@@jckdnls9292 it amazes me when people try to sanitize people's history when they pass away. They try to make Bob out to be a Saint omomg other things. I'm Jamaican from that era, Bob was very far from what they try to make him out to be...great singer and performer though.
@@lincolnlewis6979 it bothers me when people credit him with "inventing" reggae or at least bringing it to the masses. Pretty disrespectful to the other great artists that inspired him or were just as great. Peter tosh & Jimmy cliff r the first 2 off my head but there r way better examples(I'm just too tired to think straight)
His music is something else, this is one of my favourites, 3 little birds is my favourite, just listened to the legend album and redemption song is up there too
Bob Marley - Redemption Song. Buffalo Soldier, Sun is Shining (with the wailers)...way too many good songs to name.
Those are the only three you know though.
@@danzig159 Definitely not.
Redemption has to be felt
early years of marley was freaking good too
That what reggae does to you bruh. Just imagine smoking weed while listening to this. You'll be chill for days
Sir James! That “subtle choir” is the audience!!! 🥰🥰
Bob without a doubt is the MAN!!!!!!!!!!!
or the most moving song ever written about slavery: and social injustice: "Redemption Song."
Bob Marley, genius, philosopher, poet, singer a third and firts world superstar
King of Reggae. R.I.P Bob Marley
Many would argue that Peter Tosh holds that crown
@@jadecawdellsmith4009 um no 😂
@@petergriffin5637 sorry I meant Toots & the Maytals
@@petergriffin5637 ok sorry I was just being a smart ass with last comment but the original comment said "many" I didn't say I agreed
@@jadecawdellsmith4009 difference of opinion in any debate. But no one comes close to BM when it comes to reggae his music is instantly recognizable even to kids today and that speaks for itself.
REDEMPTION SONG!
This is a great song, "Stir it up" my favorite
Bob Marley Redemption song.
have you ever been having a really hard time and then the perfect song comes on the radio to just tell you everything's going to be alright? that happened to me several years ago, with this song. Perfect timing. It will always be on my playlist.
The entire “Legend” album💯💯💯
Favorite album of all time. Know it by heart.
@@jdsteppenzyde and then play every song from every other album or performance.
Totally agree...one of those cds u just put in push play and enjoy
thats his greatest hits albulm, come on listen to survival or rastaman vibrations
@@sunnywalker6881 I think rastaman vibrations might b my favorite album but it really is so hard to choose
Bob was born knowing what really is important in life.
He believed his voice and words could cure hatred, poverty and religion pure geusius 🤘
It's not a choir it's a live performance that's the crowd in background
Classic Bob Marley Wonderful !!
One of my absolute favourites of Bob Marley. ❤️💕❤️💕💖💕❤️✌️
He believed you can beat racism with good music! And I believe it, I’m glad you reacted to this one! My favorite by far from Mr. Marley
Is This Love Bob Marley
he reacted to it a week ago. Great song
Bob Marley is a legend who used his music and star power to heal the division in his home state between the two parties who had resorted to violence and murder to push their political agenda the concert he held where he brought the leaders of the two parties onstage together it was epic
Bob Marley "Get Up, Stand Up"....."Buffalo Soldier"
As long as have a soul you'll be greatly touch by Bob muzik. This man is a true legend, so go ahead and fulljoy some Bob👍🏾
Love Bob Marley, one of my faves
Bob Marley, a true legend
Really first time hearing bob marley u been living under a rock this man One greatest musicans ever walk this earth
thanks for you brother
bob marley fans from Kuwait 💪🏽🇰🇼
react to
redemption song
could be loved
The greatest man of the 20th century.
Bob marley is the best man and musician to live in all of history!!!! anything your react to is top notch! you cant go wrong when the Sun is Shining
My 3 year old granddaughter always has to hear 3 little birds at bedtime.
Could you be loved, Concrete Jungle, Lively up yourself, Waiting in vain, War, Redemption Song....too many good songs
Indigo Girls- Shame on You always puts me in a similar mood as this song.
Exodus. My neighbor (Brooklyn, NY) would play this from his porch 7 am every morning like clockwork. Then one morning I didn't hear it. I knew what happened.
Hopefully wherever he is across the great divide the spirit of Bob Marley provides him peace and comfort.
Oh, Enjoy the Journey. Bob Marley is AWESOME!
Bob Marley. Stir it up.
Next Bob Marley song should be Redemption Song. It's revolutionary!
Bob Marley "Top Rankin." This is by far one of his most powerful songs, Americans mostly listen to the light hearted songs.
true Babylon system is another one
How have you not heard a Bob Marley song? My daughters have known his music since they've been born. I'd have a long talk with the elders of your family. Lol. This music, his life what he stood for should not ever be forgotten.
Bob Marley is dope!
Bob was really something for sure. Great reaction man. Loved seeing you sing along.
Joe Cocker - With A Little Help From My Friends (Live at Woodstock)! It's got to go on the list.
Watch a live performance like "War." His charisma is like no other.
Absolutely a must!
Damian Marley - Welcome To Jamrock
Man how u ain’t ever heard this song! Bob Marley one of the greats we will ever hear! Love the vids tho man keep it up boss👏🏾👍🏽🤘🏾
I'm also quite shocked you'd never heard Bob Marley. The first time I went to Borneo in 2000 I traveled for 3months & only came upon about 6 people who spoke English but I came across about 30locals with guitars that all new at least 1 Marley song, usually more. Music esp Bob Marley is universal. 🧡💜
Classics. All of them. Can’t go wrong. My fave -Redemption song.
"everything is gonna be alright", just makes you feel good. (gotta listen to the longer live version) then try Ziggy Marley
I know you love Lauryn Hill so you can't miss out on her duet with Bob, "Turn Your Lights Down Low."
The Timeless Bob Marley , have a listen to Concrete Jungle and Stir it up from the Catch a Fire album
Bob has helped so many of us throughout the years when we needed to chill and be Ok. I recommend Three Little Birds be your next Marley tune. All of his stuff is amazing but that is one song that you want to play for your kids and introduce them to the loving side of music.
...I tear up anyway. Love among poverty. Friendships in hardship. And everything’s gonna be alright.
Another timeless artist, again, as relevant today as then. “Many more will have to suffer, many more will have to die, don’t ask me why” (Natural Mystic). I was a big admirer of Bob’s music and also Jimmy Cliff (Many More Rivers to Cross). Was privileged to see Bob Marley perform (RIP).
Bob the GOAT.
Me and my Dad would fight over Bob Marley's Legend CD💯
Marley's best song, Redemption Song
Uprising is the masterpiece, due to Bob knowing his life had just got harder. Like all great men, you stand up and fight another day. Check tracks like we and dem, coming in from the cold. He carried on to give the people what they needed to hear, when music hits you, you feel no pain. Truly grateful for the wailers to be part of my history and will never forget or stop listening.
Exodus, Jamming, Redemption Song, Kaya..really just listen to the Legends album, it's all time great.
As a Bob Marley fan (I've watched/heard everything you can think of), watching you enjoying that music as much as you did actually made me cry. I don't know why, I don't know what it is. I know it's an old video but damn, I had to tell it to you. Keep up the good work brother.
I found understanding and LOVE
Marley is so chill and makes you feel blissful. You should check out Shinehead. The song " gimme no crack." And also Sublime....his cover of Peter Tosh's " stepping razor. " all their songs kick bootay.
He was a great legend always peaceful. RIP.
"Long train runnin" by The Doobie Brothers.
I saw Bob Marley in concert (twice, including his last concert). It was like being in the presence of a holy man; he redefined my understanding of charisma.
czcams.com/video/JLYOOezs3DA/video.html
There's also Damian Marley, Welcome To Jamrock. Julian Marley , Lemme Go ( a 420 anthem ), or Damien and Stephen Marley with All Night, and a real gem from Skip Marley called That's Not True.
My friend from Jamaica, a Rastamon with dreads down to his waist, he used to say "COME BACK BOB". Of course, he said it with a Jamaican accent...... Reggae is truely timeless.
His son Damien Marley: welcome to Jamrock
Or Matisyahu : King Without a Crown
Legend any track will make you feel good.
U rly got the Marley wibe, u explained it perfectly, it is like the feeling of being totally calm and safe and just floating with the music, I got u broh :)
He was all for and about love peace and people
Bob was the man.
well he certainly is a prophet in my book for in him
This song make a brotha wanna cry
Bob Marley - Waiting in vain
Bob Marley - Duppy Conqueror
This is probably my favorite song of his! FYI this version from the Legend album is only part of the performance. There is a full version on his Bob Marley Live album. For another song, you should check out Stir It Up!!!
Great reaction, as always! 😀
Bob wasn’t just one of the greatest musicians of all times, he fought for the rights of melanated people. It is said that at some point he fed half of Jamaica’s poor population.
Thats why he’s my favorite artists.
Lee "Scratch" Perry - Having A Party
One of my favorite songs. Top5
What a Great song, paints a real nice pictures! Puts you right at the fire with them!
Everyone loves Bob try Stir It Up just another one of his catalogue of greatness and sit back light up one of Snoops cigars and puff away 🌍✌🏼
Some people think that "no woman no cry" means women make you cry. You missed the meaning. He's telling the women not to cry, everything will be alright.
Love it! Good song by Bob Marley, he so mellow & smooth.
Everything is going be alright! My favorite
No one is better than Bob Marley.
3 back up singers legends also i think
His music is faaaar more then just bringing a happy vibe! ...to name some examples: Redemption Song, I shot the sheriff, War, Rastaman chant, You can't blame the youth, Get up stand up
Lol. Yea bob the best he a fool around and spark a huge change. And funny dance u did bro
Redemption song is a fav
He's Awesome
He is the KING 👑 off reggae 👍👍👍👍👍👍🙏❤️👍👍👍👍🦋🦋🦋
You can't listen to Bob Marley without feeling something inside
You need to be the first to react to Saul Williams - Talk to Strangers, Black Stacy, or Scared Money!
If you want to hear a cross between Reggie and Rock check out some Ska music. Bands like Sublime, Madness, Reel Big Fish, The Specials, Mighty Mighty Boss Tones and many more
People are proposing a lot of good Marley songs (any Marley is good Marley), but Natural Mystic, the opening song from his Exodus album, is a side of Bob that will widen your appreciation of him and his music.
Gregory Isaacs, Night Nurse and anything by Dennis Brown.
This version, which is on his “Live” album from the early 70’s as well as the “Legend “ Compilation….is the BEST version of his song. From Lyceum theater in London. Better than the Rainbow version and ALL other versions of this song. I wish more reactors realized this and reacted to this version only. Truly captures the Spirit of the Song.
