They're really tasty, but the cooling effect of the erythritol really comes through. Did you notice that issue for any of the recipes you tried in this video?
I always use Baker's unsweetened for keto desserts. One box on sale is $2-3. I refuse to pay $8-12 for Lilly's bars, which are actually less volume than the Baker's bars.

I don't know. I might try the eggy recipe after the 'best' of these 3 ended up being really horrible and crumbly. I don't mind eggs, I like a chocolate Swiss roll and that's just eggs cocoa powder and sweetener (or sugar for normies), so perhaps I won't mind the eggy one. At least it won't be crumbly.
I've been doing keto for 4 months. I binge on keto vidoes. After awhile you start to wonder which ones will be good. That's why I LOVE what you're doing!! Please keep it up, it really helps. You have personality, very educational and I trust your taste tests!! Really helps me save time and saves me from wasting ingredients on something that sounds and looks yummy but turns out sucky. Your the friendly insider info guy, and I love your southern insight cuz I love soul food, so nurturing and that keeps me motivated and excited to keep at it. These are really good, but if you are are trying to STAY on a low carb diet I would advise refraining from making low-carb "Carb" products. Pretending to eat like you used to will only lead you to quit doing low-carb and going back to old habits. These recipes are GREAT as a treat for people with dedication and willpower and self control.
I’ve been taught that when you want to eliminate the eggy taste in baked goods or breads, make sure your eggs are room temperature. Food for thought. Love your videos!
idk if that would work here. There are six eggs in it! There's nothing else that would help mask that taste and texture in the recipe.

As someone who does all their own cooking I really appreciate the amount of work and effort that you put into making your videos. I find it tiring just cooking one recipe. I own a dessert business and use the binder clips and yes, you can keep them on the pans while in the oven. :) The heat is not even close to high enough to melt the plastic that they're made of. I do it all the time. I'm so glad I discovered your channel! :)

Darn! I just did the winner recipe and I hate it. I just don't know if I messed up or if my idea of a good brownie is entirely different to most of you. It is crumbley! Brownie must not be crumbly. But it looks about right, so I think it's the recipe. 1 cup almond flour to 2 eggs does sound like way too much almond for a brownie. Must try some other recipe. This mess I will crumble to make 'cookies and cream' dessert and ice-cream, as crumbs look a bit like oreo crumbs.

Agreed on the gritty thing. If you use granulated erythritol, I sometimes find it doesn't dissolve well. Run it through a blender or food processor before using it can really help! Thanks for watching and commenting, Shannon!

The BEST sweetener for home made keto ice cream is Allulose. The ice cream doesn't get rock hard - it's like typical ice cream texture.
@@karijaneify Yeah. Annoying you can't buy it in the UK. It's not licensed yet. Erithritol ruins ice-cream. Xylitol is better but I don't consider xylitol keto, plus it's absolutely terrible for digestive problems (for me at least).

I’ll give it a try because EVERY SINGLE avocado recipe I’ve tried that is not guacamole, avocado toast or a salad is just plain terrible & tastes horrible. I’m usually mad afterwards because I could have used a perfectly good avocado to make some killer guacamole. 🤣

Those Keto Brownies are better than the 'normal' ones !!! I have to say that I've got so excited with this Brownie battle that I've made the 2 best recipes in the same week!! They are amazing!! The avocado brownie has an insane perfect texture and it is also delicious as the last one! I still can't decide which one is the best one nor my friends can do.
