    Watching a hard working young man, methodically planning, yet able to change any moment the situation demands, reminds me of the fine mentors I had growing up. Your perseverance assures that you will always be successful. For you, responsibility is a fertilizer. It makes you happy. You stand out. I have been told that the average well in this area is less than 100' deep. It doesn't look like it is currently plumbed into anything but I would love to send you a pic of what it looks like so someone can tell me exactly what I have and what I need to do to use as a lawn irrigation well.

    I feel the struggle. Saturated sand never stays open. Do you guys ever run steel casing while you drill? I’m a driller from Canada, we will case off the overburden as we drill with a concentrate drilling system then once we hit bedrock and the casing is set in it we will trip out and switch hammers to a rock hammer and continue drilling. I’m not sure if that’s something that’s common down there. You make great videos. Love watching a fellow driller work

    I enjoy your channel we drill with a old TH 60 Cyclone with 2 mud pumps and use a lot of drilling mud to develop the hole a lot of shoveling taking cuttings out of a mud tank we use a 8 and 34 inch rotary drill bit and when we hit water the bit changes to a 6and a halve inch bit which leaves a ledge to put down a well seal then we perforate 2 20 foot stems 5 and a halve inch use grout to seal well down to well seal but your method is faster drilling with a air hammer versus rotary drill and mud method .

    I have a new well and pump installed a few months ago. Recently, for some reason, the pump would not come on in the morning. So I have a pump saver, and all the wires were pretty loose. I needed to do a full turn and a half to tighten the screws, This happened 3 times before I noticed screws were not tight.
    I first reset the pressure switch and worked fine all day, then in the morning, it would act up. Why only in the morning would it act up. Runs Fine all day.

    • @abovethesun7391
      @abovethesun7391 Před 10 měsíci +1

      There should be aquifer maps for each state available from the state water agencies. Each aquifer is at different depth and water quality depending on the subsurface rock layers and terrain. There are aquifers near rivers because a lot of the river water flows underground. Having maps of other wells and their depths plus aquifer maps gives a good idea whether you might find water at a particular location and the approximate depth. It is ultimately trial and error but you use educated guesses.

    Hello! This is actually regarding our house getting no water. We had a professional come in and replace the entire well pump. We tested the electricity, and it's exactly where it needs to be; same with the air pressure in the tank. We also took the nipple, pipes, etc., out and cleaned the debris, looked for erosion and leaks, etc. Nothing. What else could be causing no water? (We did purchase a new water pressure valve, and emptied the tank to test it. The PMI went to 60 for a few seconds, then immediately dropped down to 0.) Thank you for any help you could provide in this matter!

    Crazy question. I'm in cape coral or south west Florida and I have well water. My underground pump took a crap. Why couldn't I just leave that down in the ground and put a top side pump on. Is there no free flow of water if that pump goes out? I guess I just thought that thing is submerged in water and may still have the ability to let water be pulled up through it. I'd much rather have an above ground pump. I'm sure there is probably reasons for the underground pump I'm unaware of. Anyway if my question is rediculous try to not laugh at me to much lol.

    • @neoquietus
      @neoquietus Před 9 měsíci

      Pumps can only suck water if it is less than ~30 feet below them, otherwise they'll just create a vacuum in the pipes (this is related to the 15 psi of atmospheric pressure we are naturally under). So I doubt you can have just a surface pump unless the natural water level in your well is nearly at the surface.

    About a month ago I bleached my well at home, and I let the bleach sit in the lines of the house for 24 hours. I then drained all the bleach out (took about 24 hours) however, now when I turn my water on in the house when it sits while I’m at work I get a orange/brown tint for a couple of minutes. Then it clears up but if it turn it off and it sits and turn it back on it repeats. My lines in my crawl space have a dark orange tint to them when they are suppose to be white or clear. What is this and how can I fix it?

    • @h2omechanic
      @h2omechanic  Před 10 měsíci

      You may need to inspect your bladder tank, it may be low on air.
      Secondly, bleach helps break down iron, so thats what your seeing, build up in the system breaks off & dissolves & that's what your seeing, over time it'll quit.
      But watch Videos on bladder tanks & learn how to properly set the air pressure. Your tank may be low on air, or bad. Bad tanks don't self clean, they trap stuff & cause a similar problem.
