    arrated Abu Said Al-Khudri:
Allah's Messenger addressed the people saying: "Allah
has given option to a slave to choose between this world and what is
with Him. The slave has chosen what is with Allah." Abu Bakr wept, and
we were astonished at his weeping caused by what the Prophet, may Allah
bless him and grant him peace, mentioned as regards a slave of Allah who
had been offered a choice. (We learned later on that) Allah's Messenger
himself was the person who was given the choice, and that Abu Bakr was
the first to realize it. Allah's Messenger added: "The person who has
favored me most of all both with his company and wealth is Abu Bakr. If I
were to take a khalil other than my Lord, I would have taken Abu Bakr
as such, but (what relates us) is the Islamic brotherhood. All the gates
of the mosque should be closed except that of Abu Bakr."

Assalaamu aleikum wa rahmatullahi ta'aala wa barakatuhu
The man believes Adam and his wife were created to live forever; they were not meant to die, and they only died because they sinned against God, by basically disobeying His command (not to eat the fruit of a certain tree). This can not be right, for God is not a temporal being. God is free of time, and so past, present and future are concepts that apply to temporal creatures, while God is outside of time. God knows all things, and God creates everything in accordance with His will. So whatever God wills, He creates and whatever He does not will, it won't ever come to pass, because He then simply does not create that thing. The man is ignoring these truths concerning the Creator. Therefor, it's impossible that Adam and Eve were created NOT to die. The fact is that they did eventually die, and God not only knew exactly what was going to happen: what was going to happen could only happen because God willed it that way, and so He created these events as they occured. They were therefor predestined to disobey Him, eat from the tree, and that's when the human experience starts on earth. Humanity was predestined to emerge in the world as a result of the actions of Adam and Eve. Saying that they were created to live forever, but then stuff happened and God's plan had to be adjusted is actually a denial of God's attributes (of Him knowing and Him creating events in accordance with His will). This comes from an erroneous concept of God; the man's theological beliefs are simply incomplete or incorrect. God, in his version of events, is ignorant about the future, and God here is NOT the Creator of the world, because if Adam and Eve's 'sin' was a surprise to God, then who created that in them, if not God? There has to be some other creator now, if God created them with the intention of having them live in the garden for all times, but then the divine will was being contradicted by them sinning. It makes absolutely zero sense from an islamic perspective, because it reduces God to the status of a mere observer of these events, instead of having Him be the ultimate Creator, who is all-knowing and all-powerful over His creations. It's also a clear denial of Qadr, or predestination. Adam and Eve were always meant to disobey their Lord, that's how humanity is kickstarted. They roamed in the garden, untill they approached the tree and decide to consume its fruits, and that's the moment when the human experience on earth begins. That was meant to happen, which should be obvious to anyone with a somewhat coherent concept of God.
Besides, the story in Genesis is somewhat problematic imo. The christians say that sin entered the world when Adam and Eve sinned. That sounds contradictory, for how could they sin when sin only enters into the world after they sinned? That's like a chicken laying the world's very first egg.. after it hatched. Disobeying God was always an option for them. So they already had that choice. If disobeying God only became possible after their disobedience, then they shouldn't have disobeyed Him, ever, for it would be impossible for them to sin before sin existed as a real option for them. Their disobedience proves that they were created with the option to sin. It now becomes completely nonsensical to claim that people are born sinners because of the actions of Adam and Eve, because they themselves already had a nature that allowed them to go against the commandments of their Creator. If not, then they could not have done so. So it's clear that mankind, including our mother and father Eva and Adam, were created with this inherit inclination or possibility to do wrong and commit sins. If a christian reads this and argues that sin entering into the world refers to the actual sin of eating the fruit, and not to the mere option of disobeying God, and that this real manifestation of sin is what is being punished, and not just the fact that they had the option to sin, then they should abandon the idea that people come into the world as sinners, for new-borns haven't comitted any real sins yet, so they should be free of blame and no punishment could befall them, unless and untill they reach a certain age and start committing real sins. In other words, the sinful nature can not be punished now, which means people aren't born sinners to begin with, but they become sinners only when they actually sin. This would do away with the very foundation of christianity, which is that sin is passed down through the generations, and babies come into the world, worthy of punishment, simply because their nature is such that they can start committing sin later in life. For the same would be true for Adam and Eve, which would make them sinners worthy of death (divine punishment) even prior to their sin of eating from the forbidden tree, which means that sin was in the world already, right from the very start. Always amazed that this never occurs to the christians.
Furthermore, if God gives them this commandment, and any commandment has to do with do's and don'ts, by definition, then such a commandment only makes sense if the recipient is aware of this basic meaning. What point is there to tell a frog to go right and not to turn left if the frog has no understanding of what you just ordered it to do and not to do? Why would you punish the frog for going left if it never understood you in the first place? Did it do wrong? No, because it had no comprehension of what it was told, nor of the consequences, so it's simply unjust to punish the frog for disobeying you, that's cruel and nonsensical. So telling Adam and Eve NOT to do something only means something if they comprehend what they're being told. "Don't ever do this, or there will be consequences that you may find to your disliking!" That's the command. If they understand the command and the consequence, then disobeying you is a sin, and then it makes sense that punishment is justified, because they understood what was being said, and they understood that there would be negative consequences. So they must have known that it would be wrong for them to disobey God, because not knowing that this would be wrong would mean that they're like the frog: lacking awareness of meaning, and so punishing them for it would be cruel. So how can they only become aware of good and evil, or right and wrong, or in other words; the very difference between the do's and the don'ts and their consequences, after eating the fruit? They should have been aware of that already, because what's the point in giving them orders with consequences if they simply don't comprehend the difference between the two options? It makes no sense to me, the entire story of Adam and Eve in Genesis, I find many problems in it, and not just the ones I mentioned so far, there are more, but these are basically the most important issues that I have with the Biblical narrative.

In the bible, God clearly and unambiguously state:
    The God is NOT MAN
The God is NOT SON OF MAN
In the bible, Jesus(pbuh) clearly and unambiguously state:
    I am MAN
    I am SON OF MAN
Conclusion, Jesus(pbuh) clearly and unambiguously state:
    "I am (NOT GOD)".
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Other than clear and unambiguous statement from Jesus(pbuh) that state "I am God", are just fallacy.

    Not foretell?? Already foretell...
    Four Days Before His Death
On Thursday, four days before the death of the Messenger of Allah he said to people - though he was suffering from a severe pain: "Come here. I will cause you to write something so that you will never fall into error." Upon this 'Umar ibn al-Khattab said: "The Prophet of Allah is suffering from acute pain and you have the Qur'an with you; the Book of Allah is sufficient unto you." Others however wanted the writing to be made. When Muhammad heard them debating over it, he ordered them to go away and leave him alone. [Sahih al-Bukhari, 2/637]
That day he recommended three things:
Jews, Christians and polytheists should be expelled out of Arabia.
He recommended that delegations should be honoured and entertained, in a way similar to the one he used to do.
As for the third - the narrator said that he had forgotten it. It could have been adherence to the Holy Book and the Sunnah. It was likely to be the accomplishment and the mobilization of Usamah's army, or it could have been performance of prayers and being attentive to slaves.
In spite of the strain of disease and suffering from pain, the Prophet used to lead all the prayers till that Thursday - four days before he died. On that day he led the sunset prayer and recited:
"By the winds (or angels or the Messengers of Allah) sent forth one after another."
    Al-Qur'an 77:1. Mishkat al-Masabih, 1/102
In the evening he grew so sick that he could not overcome the strain of disease or go out to enter the Mosque. 'A'ishah said: The Prophet asked: "Have the people performed the prayer?" "No. They haven't. They are waiting for you." "Put some water in the washing pot." Said he. We did what he ordered. So he washed and wanted to stand up, but he fainted. When he came round he asked again "Have the people prayed?" Then the sequence of events took place again and again for the second and the third times from the time he washed to the time he fainted after his attempts to stand up. Therefore he sent to Abu Bakr to lead the prayer himself. Abu Bakr then led the prayer during those days [Sahih al-Bukhari, 1/99]. They were seventeen prayers in the lifetime of Muhammad sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam.
Three or four times 'A'ishah talked to the Prophet sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam to exempt Abu Bakr from leadership in prayer lest people should despair of him, but he refused and said: "You (women) are like the women who tried to entice Joseph (Yusuf) into immorality. Convey my request to Abu Bakr to lead the prayer."
A Day or Two Prior to Death
On Saturday or on Sunday, the Prophet sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam felt that he was well enough to perform the prayer; so he went out leaning on two men in order to perform the noon prayer. Abu Bakr, who was then about to lead the prayer withdrew when he saw him coming; but the Prophet made him a gesture to stay where he was and said: "Seat me next to him." They seated him on the left hand side of Abu Bakr. The Prophet led the prayer, and Abu Bakr followed him and raised his voice at every 'Allahu Akbar' (i.e. Allah is the Greatest) the Prophet said, so that the people may hear clearly. [Sahih al-Bukhari, 1/98,99]
    A Day Before His Death
On Sunday, a day before he died, the Prophet sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam set his slaves free, paid as a charity the seven dinars he owned and gave his weapons as a present to the Muslims. So when night fell 'A'ishah had to borrow some oil from her neighbour to light her oil-lantern. Even his armour was mortgaged as a security with a Jew for thirty sa' (a cubic measure) of barley.
    The Last Day Alive
In a narration by 'Anas ibn Malik, he said: "While the Muslims were performing the dawn prayer on Monday - led by Abu Bakr, they were surprised to see the Messenger of Allah raising the curtain of 'A'ishah's room. He looked at them while they were praying aligned properly and smiled cheerfully. Seeing him, Abu Bakr withdrew to join the lines and give way to him to lead the prayer. For he thought that the Prophet wanted to go out and pray." 'Anas said: "The Muslims, who were praying, were so delighted that they were almost too enraptured at their prayers. The Messenger of Allah made them a gesture to continue their prayer, went into the room and drew down the curtain." [ibid. 21640]
The Messenger of Allah sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam did not live for the next prayer time.
When it was daytime, the Prophet sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam called Fatimah and told her something in a secret voice that made her cry. Then he whispered to her something else which made her laugh. 'A'ishah enquired from her after the Prophet's death, as to this weeping and laughing to which Fatimah replied:
"The first time he disclosed to me that he would not recover from his illness and I wept. Then he told me that I would be the first of his family to join him, so I laughed."
    Sahih Al-Bukhari, 2/638
He gave Fatimah glad tidings that she would become the lady of all women of the world [Rahmatul li'l-Alamin, 1/282]. Fatimah witnessed the great pain that afflicted her father. So she said: "What great pain my father is in!". To these words, the Prophet remarked:
"He will not suffer any more when today is over."
    Sahih Al-Bukhari, 2/641
He asked that al-Hasan and al-Husayn be brought to him. He kissed them and recommended that they be looked after. He asked to see his wives. They were brought to him. He preached them and told them to remember Allah. Pain grew so much severe that the trace of poison he had at Khaybar came to light. It was so sore that he said to 'A'ishah: "I still feel the painful effect of that food I tasted at Khaybar. I feel as if death is approaching." [ibid, 2/637] He ordered the people to perform the prayers and be attentive to slaves. He repeated it several times. [ibid. 2/637]
The Prophet sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam Breathes His Last
When the pangs of death started, 'A'ishah leant him against her. She used to say: One of Allah's bounties upon me is that the Messenger of Allah died in my house, while I am still alive. He died between my chest and neck while he was leaning against me. Allah has mixed his saliva with mine at his death. For 'Abdur-Rahman - the son of Abu Bakr - came in with a siwak (i.e. the root of a desert plant used for brushing teeth) in his hand, while I was leaning the Messenger of Allah against me. I noticed that he was looking at the siwak, so I asked him - for I knew that he wanted it - "Would you like me to take it for you?" He nodded in agreement. I took it and gave it to him. As it was too hard for him, I asked him "Shall I soften it for you?" He nodded in agreement. So I softened it with my saliva and he passed it (on his teeth).
In another version it is said: "So he brushed (istanna) his teeth as nice as he could." There was a water container (rakwa) available at his hand with some water in. He put his hand in it and wiped his face with it and said:
"There is no god but Allah. Death is full of agonies."
    Sahih Al-Bukhari, 2/640
As soon as he had finished his Siwak, brushing, he raised his hand or finger up, looked upwards to the ceiling and moved his lips. So 'A'ishah listened to him. She heard him say: "With those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace with the Prophets and the Truthful (as-Siddiqin), the martyrs and the good doers. O Allah, forgive me and have mercy upon me and join me to the Companionship on high." [ibid, 2/638-641] Then at intervals he uttered these words: "The most exalted Companionship on high. To Allah we turn and to Him we turn back for help and last abode." This event took place at high morning time on Monday, the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal, in the eleventh year of hijrah. He was sixty-three years and four days old when he died.

    • @as680783

Mohammed wasn't just a man. According to Muslims he's the greatest and final prophet. He received revelation from God! His death was foretold when God told him that anyone prophet who gives a false revelation will die and his aorta will be cut.
Mohammed was poisoned by a Jewess. He died a few years later and declared that he felt his aorta being cut. So basically God told Mohammed he would die and how it would feel. God knew he was a false prophet as he gave false revelations.

    English - Sahih International
When the victory of Allah has come and the conquest,
    English - Footnote (Hilali)
    English - Tafsir ibn kathir
This Surah informs of the Completion of the Life of Allah's Messenger
Al-Bukhari recorded from Ibn Abbas that he said, "Umar used to bring me into the gatherings with the old men of (the battle of) Badr. However, it was as if one of them felt something in himself (against my attending). So he said,
`Why do you (`Umar) bring this (youth) to sit with us when we have children like him (i.e., his age)'
So `Umar replied, `Verily, he is among those whom you know.`
Then one day he called them and invited me to sit with them, and I do not think that he invited me to be among them that day except to show them. So he said,
`What do you say about Allah's statement,
    إِذَا جَأءَ نَصْرُ اللَّهِ وَالْفَتْحُ
(When there comes the help of Allah and the Conquest.)'
    Some of them said,
`We were commanded to praise Allah and seek His forgiveness when He helps us and gives us victory.'
Some of them remained silent and did not say anything.
Then he (Umar) said to me, `Is this what you say, O Ibn `Abbas'
    I said, `No.'
He then said, `What do you say'
    I said,
`It was the end of the life of Allah's Messenger that Allah was informing him of.
    Allah said,
    إِذَا جَاء نَصْرُ اللَّهِ وَالْفَتْحُ

When there comes the help of Allah and the Conquest.
which means, that is a sign of the end of your life.
    فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ وَاسْتَغْفِرْهُ إِنَّهُ كَانَ تَوِبَا
So, glorify the praises of your Lord, and ask His forgiveness. Verily, He is the One Who accepts the repentance and Who forgives.'
    So, Umar bin Al-Khattab said,
`I do not know anything about it other than what you have said."'
Al-Bukhari was alone in recording this Hadith.
Imam Ahmad recorded from Ibn Abbas that he said,
    "When
    إِذَا جَأءَ نَصْرُ اللَّهِ وَالْفَتْحُ
(When there comes the help of Allah and the Conquest.) was revealed, the Messenger of Allah said,
    نُعِيَتْ إِلَيَّ نَفْسِي
My death has been announced to me. And indeed he died during that year."
Ahmad was alone in recording this Hadith.
    Al-Bukhari recorded that Aishah said,
"The Messenger of Allah used to say often in his bowing and prostrating,
    سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا وَبِحَمْدِكَ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي
(Glory to You, O Allah, our Lord, and praise be to You. O Allah, forgive me.) He did this as his interpretation of the Qur'an (i.e., showing its implementation)."
The rest of the group has also recorded this Hadith except for At-Tirmidhi.
Imam Ahmad recorded from Masruq that Aishah said,
"The Messenger of Allah used to often say towards the end of his life,
    سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْه
Glory to Allah, and praise be unto Him. I seek Allah's forgiveness and I repent to Him.
    And he said,

If Adam and Eve were not created to die then that would suggest God did not know or intended for them to Die but if God is all Knowledgeable and knows the future then God would have had knowledge of Adam and Eves faith before they were even created which suggest then God did create Adam and Eve to die.

The man says it as if it's some kind of compliment... like oh yeah, I have decided you're ok... We don't need anyone's acceptance but God's. What we want is a better and broader understanding amongst non-Muslims of our religion so they can shed light for the sake of their understanding.

A moderate muslim is a muslim who stopped to be a muslim but still call himself muslim without fulfilling prescription of islam, he is a muslim who want to be acceptable not in the eyes of allah but acceptable in the eyes of the secularist who label him as a moderate muslim because he do exactly what they expect from him to do meanwhile a muslim who is not muslim but still calling himself muslim

      @FulaanS Před 6 lety +2

Moderate Muslim is the one who except Allah’s commands and his messenger without interfering personal interpretations, using Quran to understand Quran accompanied by practical applications of the messenger of Allah.
Allah says in The Holy Quran chapter (2) Surah Al-Baqarah verse (143): (And thus we have made you a just community that you will be witnesses over the people and the Messenger will be a witness over you. And We did not make the qiblah which you used to face except that We might make evident who would follow the Messenger from who would turn back on his heels. And indeed, it is difficult except for those whom Allah has guided. And never would Allah have caused you to lose your faith. Indeed Allah is, to the people, Kind and Merciful)
But socially, politically Moderate refers to a kind Muslim who coexists deeply with unlike parties.
