Lol, I live in McKinney on the West side and jokingly say I live in the poor neighborhood. That is tongue and cheek but when I drive around and see all the McMansions both in McKinney, Frisco which I live on the border of as well as Prosper its just like wow!!!

Its mckiney diverse...im from nyc and nyc is segregated...many its not as diverse as people think

I actually went out, discovered I had seen them, had just never toured inside. McKinney certainly doesn't look the way it did when I moved to TX in 2010.

McKinney is pretty diverse but not in the way most would think. Those high end homes are mostly white people, but there is a very large Indian population in neighboring Frisco, TX that is super high income and spilled into McKinney. Also Frisco has the Dallas Cowboys training facilities so you often have NFL players living in many of these places in next door McKinney. Sadly Darren McFadden made the news passed out drunk ramming into a Whataburger with his foot on the gas a couple years back, that was McKinney. The other "lower end" places in McKinney are more diverse. You will see lots of black people in McKinney anywhere you go, however for whatever reason the Hispanic population seems to be very small. As someone originally from Northern California where the Hispanic population was over 35% its surprising how little I get to use my Spanish here.

@@brianc9036 there’s a bunch of Hispanics on the east side. There’s a Michoacána and El rancho in McKinney because the Hispanic population is booming. This was made more as a joke, McKinney is super diverse just not as portrayed this video.
