I have a 2001 gmc yukon xl slt with with Manuel recline and lumbar and only power forward and backwards and I was wondering if you can plug and play a set fully powered seats or is the plugs different
If you have a scan tool you can reset it. Or try disconnecting the battery for a while. Also double check thats its plugged in all the way. If none of those work might have to take it to the dealership and they can reset it.
@@Kadinscustoms yeah honestly I used your way and it worked and I’m glad I was watching I commented before I tried it being curious because someone else’s video said you will round off the bolts luckily that wasn’t the case for me thanks for saving me a trip to a parts store.
Saved time and money with regular socket recommendations rather than buying special "E sockets" Thank You!
Thats awesome! You're welcome
The best seat removal out there to date! fast simple easy to understand. Killed it, thank you!
Thank you!
Good video straight to the point✅
Thanks happy to hear!
Note: Some of them might have purple safety tape protecting the harness to the power seats. I broke them off and it came right out.
Thank for a great video!! Short and sweet. 👍
No problem glad you enjoyed it!

Great video. When I put the drivers seat back I got a service airbag message. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue? Thanks

great it is gonna apply to a 2002 tahoe ? also power seat
It would probably close to the same thing maybe a little different but same idea.
What are does bolts called I need to buy the socket for it
Will Alvarez E Sockets
E torx socket
Those look like E sockets. Torx Plus. Not regular Torx. The plus has more flat tips. The Regular is more sharp like a star.
Don’t you have to disconnect the battery before disconnecting the ABS?
Its recommended but I didn't and had zero issues
Anyone know if seats from a Tahoe would fit this Yukon
Not sure but they are close with lots of parts. Just have to try and find out.
thanks bro im not buying those e sockets lol
Good call!
Someone said you should use a e socket 1/2 20 e socket and a 14 e socket
Ya you are suppose to but not everyone has them so I wanted to do it without. And it worked great no damage to the nuts at all
