    The best places for heat to escape from the device are the side edges. If the heat is transferred to the aluminum frame around the device, it would cool down quickly and optimally.

While removing the adhesive of the sticker was so strong that the back panel kind of came a little bit because of it from the middle egdes of the phone. Now they rest perfectly well on the phone but i have the concern that. Has that void my water resistance of the phone??

    Compared to the S20 FE, the S21 FE is 4mm shorter and 0.5mm thinner. Looking at your teardown, I can see the 4mm comes from a smaller bottom speaker, and the 0.5mm comes from a thinner back cover.

      Hi, you don't need to cut it off, you can peel the graphite pad/film from the plastic cover as well as gently peel off the back of the connector for the wireless charging flex from the other side of the plastic and separate it from the motherboard plastic cover. But short answer yes you can remove the wireless charging coil/graphite pad.

    Umm i had a question sir, i recently bought this phone and dropped the box, in which it was inside, it slipped out of the box when the box slipped out of my hand
    and hit the floor on the bottom left corner (there's a little dent on the metal rail, the paint got chipped a little) everything seems to be working fine.
    Do you think this could have damaged anything internally in the long run? Also the battery can swell from an impact?

      @PBKreviews  Před 4 měsíci

      Hmm not sure. Can be water damage, loose connections or something else. You can try taking it apart and using a small brush like a tooth brush to brush off any corrosion if there is some from water damage or clean out the phone and make sure all the cables are connected and the main board is seated and everything is screwed in place. You can also order new adhesive to replace the one on your back cover or the entire back cover with adhesive pre installed from this website: www.mobilesentrix.com

    Hi :) I wanted to ask if you know, where the power management ic (PMIC) is located?
    I was smashing my S21 FE on the floor and now it doesnt turn on any more.
    Opened the device, made sure everything is plugged in but still nothing.
    Windows doesnt even recognize the smartphone in device management,
    when connected.
    I would be really happy, if you could help me.
    I've already ordered a new phone, but there are many videos of my kids on the device,
    unfortunately i've decided 6 years ago to disable cloude saving DCIM.
    Thanks!

    • @PBKreviews
      @PBKreviews  Před 5 měsíci

      Hi. Not sure where the PMIC is. It might be a bad display also. Sometimes when the display isn't working, the phone doesn't power on either but again its just a possibility. Maybe even the battery went bad who knows, but yep aside from those I would lean toward the main board. You would probably need to find some specialty shop that does phone soldering who would have a better understanding of getting the PMIC or any other controller part on the board repaired.

    • @PBKreviews

      No, you would need to re apply original pre cut adhesive to retain the resistance. They sell the adhesive for the back as well as back cover/battery door replacements which come with the adhesive pre installed.

    So my 21fe took a rather hard fall and the Bluetooth connectivity was effected, my phone has since taken another fall, the Bluetooth is the same glitchy but now i cannot detect let alone connect to wifi networks. It shows no networks and therefore doesn't connect to any either. Is something came loose? Appreciate any help.

    • @PBKreviews
      @PBKreviews  Před 4 měsíci +1

      It's possible a cable may have gotten loose or the motherboard cover may have gotten loose but also possible the chip got damaged from the fall. Might have caused some solder points under the chip to break. You can try taking it apart, and re assembling or checking to make sure everything is in place. Aside from that, if its the bluetooth/wifi chip, it would either need to be reballed or replaced by a repair shop that can do soldering.
