Kingdom Come Deliverance is arguably one of if not the best RPG and medieval accurate game in the last 10-20 years, stunning world absorption and building
Certainly one of a kind, albeit abit to hard for me even if i tried to complete it. Will probably rejoin it later..
yeah it's a great game, but a little bit boring, couldn't complete it
@@sailorf585 If im not mistaken there was some bug that stopped me completing it, but not sure. Happened to me in Dragon Age inquisiton also, which made me completely desperate. As its one of top 3 best rpg's i ever played.
@@tredfxman Was it the Robber Baron quest, I remember heaps of people having their games bricked because of it. I was lucky to have not reached that quest before they fixed it.
The towns were modeled as close as possible as the real places. You can Google maps rattay, obviously there's not a castle or trading stalls anymore, but the streets looks very similar to the game.
So glad people are still modding this. Best medieval game ever made.

@@opafritzsche I got stuck on a “boss fight” in a save with a tiny sliver of health and no matter what I did I could not stop from dying. That’s when I found the god mode hack and moved on with that haha.
@@opafritzsche You are just bad. You are literally missing out one of the best and most immersive games ever made. The beggining is rough, just look a tutorial on CZcams and move on.
KCD has some the realistic looking forest implementations of all times, very very few has this kind of realtime graphics
This game still puts present AAA titles to shame.
I still come back to this game after 100% completion and still get great joy out of playing it. It's such a shame that they vowed never to make a sequel 😢

@@cagneybillingsley2165 That's not true at all. They probably thought about it when developing this one, but they openly admitted it a while back, there's a CZcamsr that made a video on it and showed their statement. I believe they said multiple times that they wouldn't make a sequel.

The walking seems off, as though the walker has a limp or something. It jerks forward in an unnatural way. It stands out in such a realistic setting.
A while since I've played, but as I remember you can turn 'head bobbing' off.
3:55 I lost immersion with the movement of the rabbits and a second later, I lost it completely with those papal barriers. WTF!

The lighting of the Cryengine is far better than the lighting of the Unreal Engine. Cryengine's shaders are the best in the gaming industry.

For me not any other game had this much detail....it feels the same like the first cyrsis ...still the best graphic i ever saw on a videogame. Afternoon when the sun goes down it look incredible and the view in the far with hills and small villages are insane

I still enjoy K.C.D till today (almost done with free roaming for maxing stats and skills before I start new game) even on XB without modding because the scenery and music and combat and sound effects from clashing iron to chirping birds and water make it a wondrous game but after seeing your videos I would love to see that others like Bethesda would embrace modding (yeah I know I'm not fan of the current situation with paid mods either but still its better than nothing and they're the owner and official mod support has costs) there has to be a way so modders can create and get some for their effort without faring in official paid work right ? anyways again a gorgeous video :D
The graphics are great. There is something off about the movement though with the head bobbing seeming a little mechanical, and none of the foliage deforms as the camera walks through it.

Glorious. Makes me want to save up for an 8K TV and high end gaming pc that utilizes the Nvidia RTX 4090 GPU.
Errrr... You realize that the 4090 will come nowhere even _close_ to pumping out 7680 x 4320 at 60 fps in any AAA game of the last six years?
unless your getting a large screen and not wanting to max out graphics with path tracing and such.. your better of sticking to 4k.
@@djam7484 I am into maximizing immersion, and have a "High FoV Gaming" setup: a 55" 4K OLED with a normal viewing distance of only 18". This means that my horizontal _Display FoV_ is almost 110° --- higher than most VR headsets. **
You're right --- 4K is fine for now. I'd like 8K, but the problem is that no GPU on earth can even consistently deliver 60 fps at 4K. The industry ditching SLI is a huge problem (but not as huge as current GPU prices).
** The "secret" to immersion is that your Display FoV must match your in-game FoV. Distortion is not caused by a "too-high" in-game FoV --- it's caused by the Display FoV being lower than the in-game FoV. How do you increase Display FoV? By:
1. Increasing display size and keeping the same viewing distance.
2. Keeping the same display size but getting closer to the screen.
3. Both increasing display size _and_ getting closer to the screen.

Looks so amazing. I still need to play this game. Was the finished version of the game downgraded compared to the beta? I tried the game when it first came out, but I didn't really like the main character very much. Also at the time my computer had troubles running it.
It's a great game, no other like it atm. Re. downgrade, not significantly. Forests still look brilliant.

gaming landscape, will loose more and more content, and intersting storys (like today) or ideas
because everything is just boring graphic S...t and no Deep no Storyline, no real content anymore, onlyy graphic graphic graphic.
At the end, we will only get a few good games
contains all this, we have today, like an Eldenring and other "+AAA titles"

Looks great except for the need for more tree and foliage movement and wind effects. Player is clipping right through the foliage which breaks immersion and the realism. Still amazing to look at though. Especially that field of flowers.
The thought that in next decade we will have planet sized worlds artfically auto generated to exact the process that happens on real life planets gets ruined when you see the rabbits running away still looking like automatons and the character getting stuck on the downed tree. Still needs work but getting there!

KCD still has the best outdoor environment of all games! I also like DayZ standalone, Sons of the Forest, Scum, Ghost Recon Wildlands and The Hunter.

Looks amazing, the original game was already photorealistic in Ultra but it looks beyond with RT. There is especially something that makes this game so real, it’s it’s scale and its topography. Everything looks right vanilla in terms of landscape, density and size of trees, plants. I’ve never seen any other open world such on point. If you compare with Skyrim, last Assassin’s Creeds or Bg3 they look so fake. The only example which succeed to give this sense of immersion😊, even it doesn’t reach this quality in my opinion, is Cyberpunk 2077. This game is visually a gem and it has 6 years old!
RDR2 isn't on the same level of graphical realism as KC:D and C2077?
RDR2 is over than beautiful, you are right I forgot this one ;) But I was talking more about the scale, in RDR2 there is something I don't buy cause it's a huge part of the US condensed in something way smaller. It's for the sake of gameplay so it's not a problem, but cause of that it looks less realistic in my opinion than KC. KC is more "humble" and indie money wise, so they made the good choice of focusing on a small area that actually exist in real life almost 1:1 scale. It's why it's so believable over most of the other games.

RDR2 is super big, way bigger than KC. It’s also a better game than KC and arguably more beautiful. KC is just more realistic on some gameplay and visual aspects, and deserves a try.

Honestly, KCD and cyberpunk 2077 are still the best looking games to date. In terms of pure photorealism maybe not the best, but overall visuals, like beauty... I think they are still the best ones.

If you ask me CIG needs some stiff competition from a game developer who CAN deliver the dream they promised us and show them how it's actually done.

8K разрешение - это ого-го, сколько жрать видео будет. + движок игры далеко не идеален.

@@pigydog123it’s evolving. both of us are putting a lot of efforts to make the perfect denoiser for our shaders regardless of ReShade limitations. I partially added ReSTIR in update 1.2 and an planning to fully implement that in the next update. The denoiser is almost perfect right now, but the sampling can be improved to produce less noise. Stay tuned 😁❤️

KCD ist eines meiner absoluten Favoriten Spiele. Eines der wenigen, dass den Spieler wie einen Erwachsenen behandelt. Und nicht wie ein Kind das 1000de Hinweise und Hilfen benötigt.

Nice but few details cut the immersions for me (appart the modern fences!):
- The woman who sweep the grass or the court yard (I think only the house porch is realistic)
- The tree trunks cut like it was with a chain saw
- The houses are all very bigs, seems they are very rich
