Hiya, helpful video as always - BIG thanks 🙏 a Brit living in Germany 🙋♂️just wanted to mention because you commented the waste of the energy labels… not sure what the rules are in the UK but here in Germany shops are obliged to display those stickers with the TVs. A friend of mine owns his own shop and tucks them into the top corners of the respective units on display. If they don‘t they risk being fined…

@@TheTechGiantCZcams Delivery in 3 weeks, hopefully a good batch, some earlier models had sam vertical line banding issues. But fully covered by warranty anyway. Its going to be a nice upgrade yes, even though my CX is still a fantastic TV

I will be using the stand when I buy one, but that one looks rubbish compared to mine on the LG CX. I hope the old stand fits the new tv or I'll have to buy another stand.

I live in Algeria and we have LG suppliers here but they stopped shipping the newest models, the lastest one they have is the CS / C1 remodel. I ordered my LG G4 65" from spain, I am hopefully it arrives at my door by this Tuesday. I am very interested as I am currently running a 55" CX, Thank you for the video, I almost watched every LG G4 video on CZcams while waiting for mine to arrive 😅😅

I'm gonna make my C1 last till the end of this gen with PS5 Pro and when I'll upgrade when PS6 comes out I'll most probably get the C7 or G7 then or whatever is out at that time

Just curious, have you noticed the vertical line issue that has been reported on other G4s? I have a 83” with it, looks like a vertical seam down the center of the panel in some bright content. A good test is Loki s1e2 at 36:50. We also have a thread ongoing at avsforum about it, would link but it hides the comment when I do that. If you google LG G4 Brightness/Shadow issue you’ll find it. It’s annoying because otherwise the TV rocks.

Hi , I have a question, when I turn on or off my c3 OLED tv using the controller it does a click sound inside the tv , is that natural? Or is it something bad?

It's the power relay switch which indicates when the TV is off (standyby mode). After every 4 hours of cumulative use the tv will perform a pixel refresher which lasts around 6-10mins (it starts once you press the power button on remote and finishes with the click). Only turn the tv off at the wall once you hear the click.
if i look it up they still say there is no stand with it. are there different types of g4? tv looks amazing bro!

Which tv picture settings do you find best for the 65" G4 OLED?

When I used to watch a show on my LG OLED TV, there was a feature where, if I pressed the middle button, it would give me information related to the show. Google search, youtube videos etc.
Where can i found it now?

I've personally never had a TV professionally calibrated. But I've seen a few different TVs that have, and it was not to my liking.
I'm happy with a few tweaks to the standard setting. But untouched, it still looks good to me.

I have the G4 and I like it very much, but I don't know why everyone tests the settings in standard or film modes. I have everything set to vivid, in other modes I don't get the full brightness, much too dark, not my thing. Am I doing something wrong, in normal and standard everything works? Don't get those brichtnes.
is LG G4 plagued with green tint….color banding and vertical banding?
I have the 55" and not at all in my example. I think only the c4 has the green tint issue.

Would love the qd-oled on the g4 but no Dolby vision support is a bit of a deal breaker
I don't like wot lg have done for the c3 & g3 model lock the feature out so can not change them on hdr games but you can for black myth sdr game like the BT,1886 but in hdr you can not select it & lg update need patch notes
Am going to buy either the 55 g4 or Samsung 55 95D tomorrow for my gaming room and pc. Which would you go and my game room is dark so no lights.
G4 has better Black colors than s95d
I just returned my 55 inch S95D today and replaced it with the G4. The G4 was actually my first choice, but I ended up getting a heavy discount on the S95D.
Unfortunately Samsung's quality has gone to shit since 2022. My QN95B died after 2 years with a flakey One Connect box. The S95D had a warped back panel which I ignored at first. Then after 2 hours of failed attempts of trying to setup my Samsung account including 2 resets, I threw in the towel. Also, removing the base after installation proved to be a nightmare. Terrible design! Needless to say, I'm done with Samsung.

What’s wrong with the remote everyone loved it when it came out it works great so why change something that works great
The function is fine, but the design is getting on a bit and could be better.
This tv is an absolute nightmare for me, have continue pops and cracks from the back panel from heat expense,
Technician replaced already what looked like the motherboard nothing was fixed, No more LG for me.
Doesn't look as good as the same demo you played on the A95l

I don’t see the point of you going through the menus and setting up etc,all lgs are exactly the same in that respect. Just stick to how good the actual picture is instead of wasting time going through set up

I am also catering to those who don't and may find the information interesting or useful.
I can't personalise videos to the way you would prefer them.
Also, there is the ability on CZcams to fast forward to any point you want. So I don't see why it's such a big deal.
I've noticed that every comment you have ever made is negative towards my videos.

@@TheTechGiantCZcamsthat’s fair enough what you’re saying I get it,but most ppl watching your videos about new lg tvs are most likely looking to see what the difference is between a g3 to the G4,do surely they know all about setting up the tv and operating system. You spend 60 to 70 percent of the video showing stuff that’s common sense. The whole reason to fork out a huge amount for any tv is to see what the picture upgrade is like not the stuff you seem to focus on. Will you agree? Of course not but we all have opinions. I do like to watch your videos that’s why I keep watching them and subscribe to your channel. As I said you spent hardly any time on the actual picture quality in my opinion. You are probably sometimes too thorough on things I don’t really want to see

Hey Paul, i normally wait for you to check the new software update on my G4 77" but the wife clicked update in my absence 🤪 Since update 03.11.20 the picture seems not as sharp, little bit soft, especially in wide shots of daytime tv. Will you be checking this update yourself soon and post your findings please? Any help would be brilliant. Take care my friend 🤗
