As a Christian who actually reads the Bible and doesn’t look to American Pastors for corrupt theology I agree with Orthodox Jews on this and consider them the true remnant of the people of Israel (not the nation). Modern state of Israel is more a product of atheistic humanitarianism and US foreign policy in the Middle East. It has a right to exist in peace of course - but the right to sin isn’t something I will cheer for. Orthodox Jews seem based. None of this ever needs to be resolved with violence though. We should be above that in the 21st century.

The actions of the state of Israel are fully in line with the threat the country has faced over the course of its existence. When you fight 3 wars over your actual right to exist with an enemy that hates Israel more than they love their own people, Israel has every right to self defense. Even if a hypothetical Palestinian state would exist, it would be another Iran/Syria. Israel has given the Palestinians autonomy in Gaza and the West Bank and they took that and turned it into an Islamist hellhole. As for East Jerusalem, the Palestinians don't own any of the land they claim they own. Jordan stole it from Jews and other Christian organizations and allowed Arabs to live there for free. Most of the land the Palestinians live on belong to Jewish organizations, families, the Greek orthodox and Armenian churches. For example, King Charles mother is buried on a plot of land that belongs to a church in East Jerusalem.
Also the vast majority of those criticize the State of Israel hold it to a standard they don't hold any other country to. They simply believe the state shouldn't have any right to exist. Going back to pre-1967 borders will not change their opinion. They believe it's stolen colonialist land. Their criticism is done in bad faith and so are the Palestinian peace negotiations. So when you say you're critical of the state, you're aligning yourself with snakes who want to as they always chant at their protests, "from the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free". After East Jerusalem, next on their list of demands will be Tel Aviv and Jaffo.
