cat h yeah heckling (especially at the beginning of a song) is pretty rude and while some performers don’t care for most performers it’s pretty annoying.

I also talked with my friends and their sexualities and how they came out. Just make sure that if you find a label, it fits, and you're not forcing anything onto yourself. You're not alone. And everyone gas a different coming out story. Come out to yourself first, and I cant stress enough that YOU MUST BE FOMFORTABLE WITH THE LABEL(S) YOU USE. And it's ok to be anything. Enchantinq I mean heckling can be kind of annoying when your trying to perform something. For instance when the girl shouted “I am” at least in my opinion that’s an appropriate time to heckle since it was just a quick bit but it’s kind of rude to start shouting right as the song is starting. Putting her finger up is just a nice alternative to shouting at them to shut up because as a performer if people are shouting at you (no matter the intentions) especially right at there beginning of a song it can be very very annoying.

Dodie is my role model. I really look up to her. She writes songs about complicated experiences that she and others have gone through in such a perfect way. I haven't watched this video a while. when i came out as lesbian in 2018 i cried while watching this video because i felt safe for the first time. i used to hide who i am. i recently came out as ftm trans and am starting testosterone soon and this video still means so much to me. I've come a lot farther than i ever thought i would.
Not only are you loved, each and very one of you, but you are honored and revered. What better hope have we than the beautiful love/hurt/empathy that is a Dodie audience. Thank you all for a hope for the future.
