Joi is an awesome character. Her interaction with K is awesome. She's complex, desirable, beautiful, and somehow you still know she's a commodity. You know it's fucking Alexa but she actually loves you - she'd die for you - and so would every other one of her. Unique and disposable - it's a lovely illustration of the veneer of depth. Favorite part of one of the best movies.
I love it because anyone can argue "does Joi really love you? Did K's Joi love him, or was it all a program to please the ownder?"
I fully support this title's statement, lets defend it till the end of times

When I chatted with the SF Rush devs, one of them said that they think they took that year from the games, probably as inspiration. There’s no real way to know however.
