    I managed to pass Core 1 of Comptia A+ last month, but sadly failed the Core 2 the other day. I too was crushed after the result for at least a day and had a hard time sleeping that night. However, as you said, nothing is impossible and it’s important to continue the journey and never give up. I know what I gotta do to prepare for the next attempt. Your story is inspirational. Best of luck on your continued success.

    I took classes for A+ and Network+ in 2013. I did really well in the A+ class and should’ve taken the test back then, but the Network class I did really poorly and decided (foolishly) that IT wasn’t for me. Flashforward to now, and Im full of regret for not going down that path earlier.
    But thankfully I just passed A+ 1001, and I’m taking 1002 in a few days. Time to get back on track! Working with computers and helping people navigate technology is my calling! Thank you for the motivating video!

      @@user-eg9ob1ji2v professor Messer’s CZcams playlist and his podcasts on Spotify. The practice questions he gives, I saw a couple of them on the exams almost word for word, I highly recommend him. The most important aspect is printing out the exam objectives and making sure you can define everything.

      Would you say that the 1102 portion of the test is more difficult than 1101 or about the same?

    Which portion of the test did you fail. Hardware or software? I barely passed hardware and I'm currently studying for the software portion. Got a feeling software is going to be harder. What do you think?

    • @jamaabouttech
      @jamaabouttech  Před rokem +1

      I failed hardware part. I had the same feeling, software seemed to be much harder, but I did better on software that I did on hardware (point-wise).

      CompTIA certifications definitely helped me to land a job in IT. They at least can help you to build up your knowledge in IT and get shortlisted for the interview. Good luck!

    thank you for this video ! I want to do comptia I discoverd it four years ago but never did it. at the time I had full time job but I was made redundant last year now I am wondering if I can get comptia itf and a+ and use them to get in to iT.
    I have applied previously to many hundreds of jobs (not in IT ) and have now decided to work towards this as people have always said I'm great at technology and I enjoy it and enjoy helping others use tech.
