This film is honestly brilliant. It probably has too many low blows, but the whole experience is a massive wake up call. Had me crying at the cinema.
Yeah, some people think it's a bad movie because Adam Sandler is part of the cast, but I honestly don't care and really enjoyed the movie
@@WatercraftGames do people dislike Adam sandler?
@@benGL8113 hell no we love him he’s a certified legend
@@benGL8113 we love him, but he does a lot of bad films sadly

I hate how people treat this movie. This was one of my all time favorites growing up.

nah it was trash. Mystery recapped made it look good.
@@ZhaWarudo that's your opinion mate, I loved the movie
@@ZhaWarudo it was good
You know, sometimes you just need that remote to pause (not skip) all that shit that’s going on your life. You can always press play when you’re ready.
So you mean if I have that remote I can pause time and take anything I want? Like pizza? while time is frozen?
@@Rando396 yep
@@illyricus. ooooo
100% I'd be using that slow-mo function for much more than just passing joggers lol
Truee. Adam should of use that to make his wife climax. Pause time, use finger for a while, press play and finish.
That remote control was a blessing that gradually became a curse...
All that fast forward, time skips seemed helpful at the start but later destroyed his life..
Honestly the most tear dropping scene is where he sees how awfully he talked to his father...
Fortunately he learned from his mistakes and got a second chance..
This says a lot about life

“Like when he watched dragon tales with them before he goes to work”
Michael is so wholesome, it’s probably why I loved this movie so much lol.
Also dragon tales was awesome, I’m getting nostalgic
This whole film is surprisingly wholesome!
@@DeepDarkBoys .
Very underrated movie. Shows Adam Sandler's acting range if he actually wants to make movies with heavy drama on it. Same with Jim Carrey.
"the most important moments in life lie in between the moments we all feel that we are waiting for, that the little things count. Family comes first. And the best things in life are free"
Couldn't say the message from this movie any better. Great work from both Adams

ive just learned about how tons of people dont like this movie and honestly dont understand why because this movie is amazing. surprisingly this is one of the few movies that made me cry.
When the son said "don't cry dad because you're gonna make me cry" that got me
I think a lot of people just don't like Adam Sandler. That's the only reason I never watched this movie when it came out; it looked stupid from the commercials back then. I can say after watching this recap that it has an amazing message, and probably had a lot of enjoyable moments, but I still don't know if I can get through Adam Sandler's insanity 🤦🏻♀️
@@littlemissfox5606 what….theres such thing as not liking Adam Sandler…? I thought that was impossible
@@mrknight3508 😂😂
Or just watch It's a wonderful life for the same message 60 years earlier in a 10x better movie.
Legit cried at the part where he ignored his father .Definitelt one of my favorite movies with one of the best messages a movie could have. Surely it wouldve gone better with a serious tone and without tje jokes but still this movie is a wake up call for a lot of people who have their eyes on the wrong prize
I never thought that an Adam Sandler movie could be this emotional
I cried during this movie that how emotional I got
Funny how this is the only movie i have cried
This and 51st date are pretty deep
so happy there's a universe where morty is all grown up and just as smart as his grandfather🥰🥰
I was about to say that
He replaced Rick altogether
I don't understand -- who's Morty's grandfather?
Was thinking that too
Adam's puns are getting better day by day. and i love it!
@@zunayedhassan8093 the hawt narrator
Lol it would be cool to stop time when its raining
Lol but you’d just walk into rain drops 😁
I hear laughter in the rain.
Yeah you can just walk through the water droplets that have been suspended in animation
I quit my job of 2 years & 3 months so that i can smoke weed on my CZcams channel full time 👌😅
youd also end up super wet
The best Adam Sandler movie IMO. Good humour (for Adam Sandler standard) , and also a very somber and touching ending. Very different than his other works but in a good way
Agreed, alongside with Uncut Gems
@@Afds-ey5kl is Uncut Gems really worth it? I have trouble watching more than 10min of modern comedies with aging comedians like the Rock, ryan reynolds, etc
@@parusyte, it's not a comedy, that is the point, pretty dark drama, and the acting is fucking phenomenal. Certainly worth watching
@@Afds-ey5kl this, Uncut Gems, and Punch-Drunk Love
And its about architecture
Other than the auto fastforward function, everything else about the remote is great. Need to remember something important: rewind. Want some more time doing something? stop time. Don't wanna get caught doing something? stop time. Don't wanna listen to something or want some peace? mute
Eh. I feel the mute button would be bad...a lot like fast forward. You'd miss important things, remarks, inside jokes, fights that need to be had, etc., in conversations you thought were inconsequential at the time. Otherwise I'd agree.
Does the remote even have a rewind function?
No this would cause a ripple in the space time continuum. This is because if you paused, one molecular movement could cause a chain for reactions to mess everything up in the space time continuum, as for it would have to be altered to do this.
@@tttylerrr00bro shut up. Your looking into it too much.
This is how I lost my father... when I saw him last time I was an asshole to him... now I regret doing anything bad to him. Guys instead of playing on your phone's just take a break and hug your parents
I can understand it. I also just wanted to say not to be too hard on yourself. We can become certain things, have our own frustrations, and stresses. Nobody intends for that to be their last moment with anyone. It's important to feel that same compassion for yourself that you feel for them and forgive and understand your own feelings at those times. Plus all moments actually exist at the same time because time is an illusion, so what was the last time for our limited minds was in reality no different than all times. It's just linear because of our perception. So it could've just been a casual argument at any time really. But I've rambled. Just wanted to say that I hope you're not too hard on yourself about that.
The part where Michael's dad try to show him a trick totally broke me into crying...
The scene where Michael chases after his son outside of the hospital still makes me cry.
This would have made an excellent Black Mirror episode
It's almost like an episode of BM for sure
"Kate Beckinsale comes downstairs dressed in a Pocahontas costume that awakened adulthood in an entire generation of young teenagers."
10/10, very much so. Just her SHADOW was enough for me later in the movie lol. Oh to be a kid again.
That line being stuck in the video was one hell of a tangent :L
The part where he ignored his father tells me that even if he wasn't auto piloted at the time he would've still done the same thing because he was too focused on whatever goals he had at the time that what's happening in midway was not important and that only the results matter.
"That awakened adulthood in an entire generation of young teenagers" 😂😂😂
Was rather blown away by just how much heart this movie had when I saw it years ago. Nice to see it getting some much deserved love
Let's be honest we all have wanted this kind of Remote after seeing cartoon like this at some point

Amazing concept of depicting such a simple message.
Family always comes first and if you are watching this and you don't spend time with your family then you should. This is one of the best Adam Sandler movies I have ever watched
Legit cryed with happiness when he got a second chance to make things right. Great film Mystery Recapped
I love how he's gone through so many extra events in the future and yet he still remembers falling asleep on that one bed in the store
This movie is so deep, reflecting one of the hardest puzzles, in life choosing spending more time at work or with those we love.
That shouldn't be a hard choice if you know your priorities...
This CZcamsr can't stop making are days better
Wow, that scene with the father really got me and I think it greatly coveyed the message of the film
I saw the full movie. Having been used to Adam Sandler's movies, the ending caught my off guard.
I was literally sobbing towards the end of the movie.
This perhaps is among the unlikely movies I will never forget.
''Hi, Mystery Recapped here.'' Bro this is so satisfying to hear, this channel is one of the trending channels.
This movie made me tear up a bit, never take your family’s time for granted as we only live once
Love these recaps you say it the best way to make sure it is enjoyable and has some humor in it
Such a beautiful message ♥️
As I watched this movie, I got "It's A Wonderful Life" (1946) vibes. It's nice to see that Flatus-Master Adam Sandler now aims higher.
The fact that Morty’s name is Morty and not Rick leads me to believe that this is an alternate universe where Rick is the name of the Kid with the big eyes.
Maybe this is him hiding out outside of the Central Finite Curve
Rick is Morty and Morty is Rick.
Very cool movie recap, well told. Thanks for sharing!
watched many times. But always see something new everytime. Love it
I have been binge watchin ur channel from past 3 days 🤣 addictive content
I liked this movie when it first cme out. Its a simple comedy, with a simple message that most people forget. Im also a work focus person, n i hve been arguing with my mum pretty often. But sometimes i think its not worth it, we should treasure our time together
This was a great message.☺
Thanks for the outro. Inspiring.
I'm so addicted to your videos bro!!! Love from India!!
Honestly one of my favorite films of all time and Adam’s greatest movie second is 50 First Dates. I still can’t fathom the hate surrounding this film.
this movie makes the real homies cry 🙏
best movie recap I personally recommmend to watch this video it can change your mindset
Here withen 1 min love ur content thanks for keeping so many people entertained without making us whatch for hours
I remember watching this as a kid with my friends.
I was probably around 10 and really enjoyed it since comedy then was all about good times and not about politics and race.
Seeing this now reminds me that there was a lot to it.
Same here man I was like 9 years old
I love this channel!!
2:42 so Morty grew up to become a mad scientist like his grandfather
Can't wait for the spin off of series of Rick and Morty
Yay so now he can actually care and treat his family correctly
I remember seeing this for the first time as a kid. The ending hospital scene tore me the hell up 😭😩
Good movie keep it up your doing great 👍
Really every day is mystery recapped
But this channel is ever growing which is brilliant and we shall always support you here
Honestly my favorite Adam Sandler movie (Hate to say it but there isn't many I do like). It was one of my top 10s as well. One of the few movies that made me cry and never even saw it coming.
Giving fart to boss's face. this is the greatest scene in the movie😂
1:57 you're goddamn right about that 😂
Absolute great message from the movie.
I remember this movie, Adam Sandler's has always have strange setting but also beautiful message in it
That fart scene was the most epic scene ever and make me realize how brilliant David Hasselhoff is as a comedy actor!
Best throw back ever
Appreciate the director and storyteller...on point
When he says... "Spoilers ahead" ... I think... You seriously are going to explain the entire film bro.... 😂😂
This is a great film that as well as it's whacky humor and insult comedy, which always makes me laugh...I see this film as a reminder every time I feel that a period has gone by and I'm just passing through my life. Which has been at least if not more than 20 times already.
Loved that movie when it was released!

Anyone else notice the dislike button doesn’t have a number anymore?
It’s been like that for a while now . Same for people’s comments . They might as well take the thumbs down out it’s a waste of space at this point lol .
One of my favorite early 2000’s sci-fi movies. Made me love Adam Sandler
I love your video
Your recap put a few things in perspective. Life is about the journey not the destination. I have been dying daily instead of meeting people, laughing, loving, THEN dying. Ty
I love this movie. It reminds me what is important to the world isn't important to our creator. My daughter comes 1st until a partner enters my life that is worthy of both of us.
I would take the remote but without the AI that makes decisions for me. I would only use it to stop time instead of forwarding it.
Suddenly you realise you where aging while time is stopped
And your lesson is that you cant have all the time in the world and you need to value it
CLICK IS MY FAV MOVIE IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS 🔥☺️💯
ive watched this movie but im watching this vid cuz your commentary is amazing :D
I like your "recaps" more than the movies, listening to somebody telling the story is very soothing.

I know this is definitely not so, but I like to imagine that Morty is the Morty from Rick and Morty when he’s an adult. He always liked the idea of Time Travel/Controling time in some way.
Wow morty get old i can't believe rick teach him that much
