Awesome video and I just subbed :D. I just haggled a seller on ebay and got one for $230 + free shipping. Figured that was a pretty darn good deal. I have an Ender 3 Pro and Artillery SW X1 but always wanted a multicolor printer. Couldn't decide on dual extruder or 2 in 1 out but couldn't pass that deal.
I believe a lot of settings are actually commented out in Marlin, that might be where to reactivate the runout detection. I think it was Teaching Tech that showed that issue in one of his vids ;)
Could you explain how to set up the purge bucket or point me towards a resource explaining it? You're the first person I've seen mention that for this particular printer, everyone else just shows purge block/towers.

Hey AFatalPapercut, thanks for the awesome comment and thanks for subbing, really trying to build up the content. With regards to the purge bucket, I found it here www.thingiverse.com/thing:3362680, it was created by 3dMakernoob and in the description he shows the start and end GCode to activate it, it really works well. I struggled to get the silicone square so I used white silcone glue, created a big blob and then cut out a square piece, which is not easy, but it works so well. I am thinking of getting a brass brush to stick on the end to do a final sweep of the nozzle before printing. Ok, once you get the GCode in, I do a couple more things to clean it up.
I have posted my GCode, from Cura, below which is a slight modification of his GCode but seems to work better. Pay attention to the commented out GCode, also I had to do some post processing as well.
      Start G-Code:
      ; Start Extruder 1
      M300 S300 P1000
      M211 S0 ; Turn off soft stops
      G1 X-9.5 F6000 ; Go to X=-9.5 at 100 mm/sec
G92 E0 ; Reset extrusion distance on new tool
      (***** MAKE THIS E1 for Extruder 2 *****)
      G1 E100 F90 ; Extrude 50 mm of filament at 1.5 mm/s on new tool
      M211 S1
      G92 E0 ; Set current extruder position to 0mm
G0 F10000 ; Increase feed rate before next travel.
      ;G1 X{prime_tower_position_x} Y{prime_tower_position_y} F20000
      ;T0 P0
      (****** THIS IS T1 on Extruder 2 ******)
      ;G92 E0
      ;G1 E3 F5000
      ;G92 E0
      End G-Code:
      ; End Extruder 1
      G92 E0 ; Reset extrusion distance
      (***** MAKE THIS E1 for Extruder 2 *****)
      G1 E-5 F5000; Retract 5 mm
G91 ; Switch from absolute positioning to relative positioning
G1 Z1 F1000 ; Lift nozzle by 1 mm in relative positioning mode
G90 ; Return to absolute positioning
G92 E0 ; Reset extrusion distance on old tool
      ;G1 X{prime_tower_position_x} Y{prime_tower_position_y} F20000
      ;G92 E0
      ;G1 E-3 F5000
      ;G92 E0

I hope I got everything in there, long reply, I know, lol. I will do a video on this in the near future because it did take a lot of playing around.

@@FusionSource Ok im back today guys I have another question. So I've printed a couple of things and its went pretty well. But now I am trying to print one of the models I made and he will start going but like 5 seconds in the nozzle with stop and start to heat back up. I tried to turn up heat but it told me there was a error with the heating nozzle. So how do I keep it stable and do I have to change anything?

my one argument is make in favor of this printer, is that this 3d printer is cheap compared to others. so all these little tweaks, yes, they are annoying. but, akin to IKEA, i think the cost savings is far better then the little announced you mentioned, but that's just me at least.

Hi, yes, the printer is very well priced and is not of bad quality.
