When Kami said the Sayins coming were "twice as strong" was being very... Optimistic because Vegeta is probably like 10x as strong as those old guys from the past at least with how much generations improve etc.
The point of the Pendulum Room was that the gang wanted to prove they were ready for the Saiyans. Then you had the scene with Popo calling Yamcha weak and Yamcha getting cocky about it. So Popo sent them to Planet Vegeta 100 years in the past, to prove that they aren't even a match for Saiyans from that long ago, much less the Prince of all Saiyans and his Commander in Chief....which is a foreshadowing in it of itself of just how powerful Saiyans were THEN compared to the insane power our lead Saiyans are going to have as the series progresses. This was a very smart, almost Meta episode.

The technique Tien is using is actually called the multiplication technique. He is quite literally make more of himself. Though it divides his power.
what happened to 12-16 episodes goku falls off snake way and goku encounters the palace at the 1/2 way, gohan chooses to keep training when he as the option to go home. It might be filler but there are good episodes in there
We skipped the fillers in the beginning so she didn’t get bored with the show. It had to be done to ensure that we’d get up to this point

I've always loved this episode. Not only because I thought the setting was cool and loved the darker tone, but because you got to see some of the OGs in Krillin, Yamcha, Tien and Chiaotzu get an episode to themselves. I always loved the original Dragon Ball cast, and hated how they got overlooked in Z, so this episode is special to me.
I completely agree with you. I hate how they became useless as the story progressed. It’s a darn shame. In my opinion Naruto is one of the popular animes that really nailed it. All the characters had a major role until the very end!

In Dragonball they pass on the time Goku trains with Kami very quickly, so the first time we get to see this room is in this episode.

Actually Tien Shin Han could as well split into up to four bodies, (without this being a speed stunt) but in Dragonball he gets to know the drawback that came with it: he divides strength among the four bodies, so in the long run is not such an effective asset. (He also has the speed stunt in which you get to see three or four Tiens when there's only one).
Before they remastered this, I was raised on the Ocean Dub version of this Saga, where "Ian James Corlett" or "Kirby Morrow" voiced Goku.

I believe Yamcha was trying to develope the same technique that he didn't know a more powerful version already existed, just like Roshi tried his whole life to figure out how to unlock ultra instinct, even though he is technically immortal because of his connection to his sister Baba he doesn't have the stamina required to unlock it as a human in old age, and is able to somewhat use it during his fight with Jiren in the tournament of power.
Did you know that over in Japan out of all the Dragon Ball Z characters ever created almost everyone seems to not like just hate or dispise Tenshinhan (Tien) all the way since the original "Dragon Ball" series for whatever reasons.
Some people gave these saiyans the names of Shorty and Scarface and they have more or less like 2,000 power level, so they don't even come close to the ones heading to Earth.
Wait when did yamcha learn the Spirit Bomb technique and when did he meet the guy that teaches it!?

Tien Shinhan is Only Half Human and half of a ancient three eyed alien alien race known as the Triclops,..the actual pure Three-Eyed People never appear in the series.

I don't consider this comment a spoiler, but you do not need to re-watch DB to see what kind of training Goku did on Kami's lookout. It was off-screen, and not even in the manga, it just illustrates that he trains. Anyhow, you guys should still watch the DB series. Don't want to discourage, it is just that point to rewatch is a bit redundant to find out a truth that isn't there.

BUT I think Bruce faulconer hits the best in the cell and buu saga. Saiyan and Namek saga drags way too much its like 100 eps i think. Thats why i think you should do saiyan and namek in DB Kai and then do bruce faulconer version for cell and buu.
Big advice for u guys as your channel will grow bigger and your views increase, you're gonna eventually be copyrighted. Make sure you lower the volume, put some sound alteration and don't show too much the entire episode. Trust me coz many anime reaction channels ended up targetted by multiple copyright strikes when they hit a certain number of views and subscribers. Especially for a very popular series like DBZ, Toei Animation is very quick to copyright.

Them claiming copyright makes no sense to me because the reactions we do brings new value to the original work. It’s transformative. We also criticize the original work which all falls under fair use in my opinion.
People aren’t here to watch DBZ. They can go watch DBZ anywhere else. People are here to watch us react! But yeah, try explaining that to Toei!
