As almost all the people, I have listened and watched a great number of musicians in my life, but I cant think in someone who had impressed so deep my soul as this great woman.
It can only imagine what the live performance would have been like.

In 1957 her career had folded. However, Chris Barber contacted her to come to the UK and sing in his Trad Jazz band, which she did. Trad was big in England at the time as was Barber. She is singing with them in this clip. She was a great success. A great and long career was revitalised!

Call me a cynic, but I very much doubt that any of the audience shots are from the same gig.
Theres other footage of this gig with audience arriving by train, muddy waters playing on the platform as people mill around him getting off etc etc. Its pretty convincing !
