Pigeons have a crazy homing ability. They could be taken 1,000 miles away blind folded and take off straight back to the nest. Messenger pigeons work by having the bird raised in one area and sent to work somewhere else. So that when they get released just go back home.

Steve is 100 percent right, pigeons were very loved house birds. They are brilliant and they were cherished, until someone decided to throw them out with the trash and now they are considered like low life birds on the chain of birds. They aren't meant to be outside, we did that. My daughter said she's going to rescue the ones we have on a bridge down the road from us , lol. The end was hilarious 😂!
