Что что, а как такового социализма в америке будет побольше..

The US also has more immigrants than any other country in the world, over 50 million. All those millions of people have found something good here.

Знаешь, Дэниэль, многие русские моего возраста и чуть постарше, а также более молодые - выросли на американских фильмах, мультфильмах, на американской музыке. И конечно же в голове всплывала идеальная картина, когда мы себе представляли США. Особенно в 90-е годы. В нашей стране ведь была разруха, бандитизм, множество бездомных, безработных людей, людей, которые опустили руки и т.д. Словом, американцы всегда умели хорошо себя подать, реклама - это их конёк) Полагаю, что некоторым русским США из-за этого даже снились. По крайней мере, мне снились однажды. Но почему-то это был городок где-то на южной границе, где-то рядом со штатом Техас, может быть даже это был как раз не американский город, а мексиканский Juarez. Хорошо запомнил этот сон, до мельчайших деталей, очень уж он был реалистичным, а что самое интересное - во сне понимал, что в этом городе находится мой дом, в котором я не был очень давно. Но сейчас не об этом. А о том, что видеть США в таком состоянии - печально. И я знаю, что будет во много раз хуже, прежде чем США хотя бы частично смогут восстановиться. Больше всего в этой ситуации жаль обычных людей. Можно винить в этом политиков, можно винить в этом и народ, но что есть - то есть. Думаю, что многим американцам не нравится то, что происходит с их страной. Нам же остаётся только постараться не допускать таких же ошибок в будущем, которые обязательно приведут к аналогичной ситуации. PS Если бы мне выпала возможность посетить США сегодня - я бы отправился пожить немного в консервативные штаты, аграрные. И на юг, конечно же, на поиски того самого места из моего сна (пусть и глупо это звучит). Также хотелось бы посмотреть национальные парки, природа всё-таки в Штатах тоже очень хороша. А все эти Нью-Йорки с Лос-Анджелесами и Сан-Франциско - не, спасибо, в другой раз или даже теперь никогда.
я тоже "вырос", и получилось, благодаря родителям побывать в Америке пару недель. До сих пор помню одногодок в отеле, в бассейне, в котором к русскому у парней-девчонок не было претензий и подозвали знакомиться. Это, кстати, было как раз в момент, когда США бомбили Югославию. И да, смотреть на те США было интересно, ведь рос я в т.ч. и на фильмах Один дома и иных популярных. В то время фильмы были не как сейчас (85-99 года), интереснее, логичнее, добрее даже и справедливее. Тем не менее я с отрочества уже понимал, что жить хочу в России, в своей стране и улучшать её. В т.ч. людей, которых, овнюков, тоже есть не мало. Кстати мне тоже снились сны из всяких интересных пейзажных мест типа Техаса или ещё какой Канады или Нью-Йорка) Я надеюсь когда-то побывать в Америке, в т.ч. во Флориде (где был тот самый бассейн и где я общался с Анжеликой Ллойд.. жаль не было тогда почт электронных и телефонов, только адрес, по которому она, видимо, больше не живёт, а в интернетах её найти я не могу), но чем старше становлюсь, (а тогда мне было 14, а сейчас 39), тем больше понимаю, что мне это не светит - не заработаю 3-4т.у.е.

Pacific Coast Highway is one of the most beautiful roads in the world.There are only a small number of places that have restricted access and most of those are residential neighborhoods. I lived in California for about 15 years and never noticed the places I couldn't go. But you can stand on the cliffs above the Pacific and gaze out to infinity and know the closest land is in Asia. The sky is a special deep blue, from the salt crystals, I believe. The sun is bright but the air is cool and dry, or warm and dry. I recently argued with a liberal. I gave him the example of the homeless in California, that the United States is not a paradise and there is no such thing in Russia. But he still stood his ground that everyone dreams of leaving Russia for America, and the number of homeless people on the streets is only because the population in the USA is 2 times greater than in Russia.
Liberals are a weird bunch the ones that want Russia to be another USA seem the oddest to me...They are either Libertarian or Navlny followers... I dont think you can change their minds to be honest.

I was raised in San Fran before moving to Russia and my parents are in LA. I went back 2 months ago to pay them a visit and it’s a zombie apocalypse down there ! I thought I freakin landed in the wrong country. And it’s not just California, it’s also happening in places like Philadelphia, Colorado and Minnesota.

I would say that life in Russia is much better than in the United States. Compared to the United States, Russia has a good level of security! In Russia, social programs are very broad. Почему так много бездомных? Потому что это деньги! Бездомные получают пособия, но кто отследит их всех? Так крупные суммы оседают в карманах далеко не бездомных людей. Все эти программы помощи бездомным, благотворительные организации просто отмывание денег и коррупция.

В основном там наркоманы опускаются, легкодоступность наркотиков главная проблема.По помойкам еду искать не нужно ее там бесплатно раздают,а работать они уже отвыкли.

Just traveled to China for two months. I talked to many people and found out after all the sanctions from the US, they still seeing Americans as friends, also admire that I am from “ Paradise”. When I told them that I moved away from California because of the terrible situations, they seemed hard to believe…… Chinese people need to realize that they are the ones living in a safe, convenient, beautiful and prosperous country which is the real paradise!

Very raw and confronting video 😳 I was horrified to see people living like this in such a wealthy city. There were parts in this video where I felt nauseated at the squalor. There were parts where I felt so much pity. I have to say there were also times I felt afraid for yourself and your sister. You are both much braver than me. Damn. I have mixed feelings on this type of stuff. On one hand, you are indeed showing an American reality. On the other hand, America has much, much more to offer. There is so much beauty here. I drive a lot between California and New Mexico on the way to/from work. Every drive, something exciting happens: I see something beautiful, I meet someone nice. However, like any country, America is a sum of its parts, and you've shown a part that needs some serious repair work. Our politicians and our society are failing many of these people.

Im half Russian half German and live my whole life in Germany. I have also visited the US in 2006 because I have family there. Honestly It breaks my heart to see what the US is becoming. It seems like we are witnessing the downfall of one of the greatest nations ever. If you are American and you are reading this, vote republican and make sure that there will be drastical changes with hard, if necessary violent punishments. There is no room for emotions and shit like that anymore. If you want to change your fate you have to rule with an iron fist, at least for a while. Thats how Putin got Russia out of the anarchism of the 90s.

Very large part of the russian population owns its own house largely because of the USSR, just like in every other Eastern European country. It is both part of our culture, and because it was elevated as part of the state goals - affordable and safe housing for everyone. Then we have the fact that in modern times it is much, much harder to buy a house with an average income. At least it is so in Eastern Europe (Bulgaria). If we didn't have that socialist period I don't think we would enjoy so high percentage of people owning a house, so we would look a lot more like the US.

16:29 Completely agree. I think food banks and giving out food on every corner is the big part of the problem. These people mean well but they are not helping, they are actually making it worse, it's devastating for the moral and ethics of those who takes it. People that are fully fed will not have incentive to work and better their life, hunger is one of the best natural motivators, always been. Here in Czech to get government support, and that's like absolute minimum amount of money so you don't die of starvation, is so complicated and cumbersome that it's easier just to find a job. @@i8Hardcore Actually I've been there, done that, many times in my life. Maximum I could go with no food at all was 7 days then I got lightheaded and felt like passing out, it was not my choice my business wasn't not preforming at all, whatever I did nothing worked. I managed to find money for food within one hour, as I said hunger it's the best motivator. It was not that long ago. You can always find a job, I know cause I always did when I really needed, construction, cleaning and such are always hiring, it's a dirty low level low pay job but better than nothing. I met local bums and construction or cleaning work is "below them", they would rather beg than work, it's a state of mind.
@i8Hardcore , that is why the government should make a way to give them jobs and give them a decent place to stay. The government are not really helping them if what they do is give them food every day. We are talking about people who can work, not people with disabilities. I am from a 3rd world country, we are poor , we work hard, that is why I know how it feels . US government needs to focus on internal problems before they fund those wars that don't give interest to Americans.

The US has weak family values. It’s difficult to have it this rough when there is a strong family unit and members care for each other. Decades of single moms and telling people to move out immediately at 18 leads to destroyed families. most Americans who move out at 18 become a drain as the parent increases financial support
We have the same issue here in seattle drugs are legal, police cannot persue you unless they have probable couse for a violent crime, so theft is super high as are murders and robberies. And that goes for portland to. I had to move further away from seattle to a more conservative town and its night and day difference at the end you know what the problem is.

Когда я был маленьким балбесом мне моя бабушка доходчиво объяснила почему не стоит относится к людям плохо в виду их каких то проблем /недостатков или финансового положения . Добавить сюда что мое детство пришлось на конец 1990 начало 2000 года и мы сами жили не так что бы богато (откровенно говоря бедновато) . Нам повезло с родными друзьями и знакомыми . Все старались помочь друг другу (не в ущерб себе но весьма искренне ) . Нам помогали и мы помогали . Извиняюсь что не могу на Английском написать вам , пишу на Русском так как в Английском я слабоват (надо было лучше учить) , а писать через переводчик мне кажется неправильным (благо текст можно перевести с русского на английский и как мне кажется неточностей будет меньше ) . Доброго времени суток и хорошего вам настроения .
Там много хороших людей, и очень печально что из-за безразличия лицемерных царьков, они оказались в таком ужасном положении. Этот чëрный парень, проповедник или пастор, не помню, с такой болью о своём городе и стране говорил, очень жаль людей. @@user-xg4dw8wq1p Никакого социализма в РФ щас нет и не просматривается, ни на каком производстве надбавочная стоимость трудящего не идёт на его развитие, всё забирают начальники (даже работая в серую, просто не выплачивают налоги, а дают тебе с ЗП..) особенно чётко это прослеживалось во время ковида, когда мужа "временно уволили", жену тоже, и вот они сидят без ЗП и с 3мя детьми, и фиг кто им что это компенсирует, а что бы получить какие то льготы, надо было кучу бумажек насобирать, и это то во время ковида и повальной цифровизации, когда поидее сами организации могли это пробить и моментально оформить, а потом только сообщить человеку. При этом сестра у меня в америке получила 3 денежных компенсации без большой головной боли в размере 1,5к $, в РФ же вообще даже хоть каких то копеек не выплатили. Что что, а как такового социализма в америке будет побольше..
Всем этим бездомным, несчастным людям очень повезло, что в этих краях нет суровых, холодных, длинных зим. Иначе их судьба была бы гораздо более печальна.

Знаешь, Дэниэль, многие русские моего возраста и чуть постарше, а также более молодые - выросли на американских фильмах, мультфильмах, на американской музыке. И конечно же в голове всплывала идеальная картина, когда мы себе представляли США. Особенно в 90-е годы. В нашей стране ведь была разруха, бандитизм, множество бездомных, безработных людей, людей, которые опустили руки и т.д. Словом, американцы всегда умели хорошо себя подать, реклама - это их конёк)
Полагаю, что некоторым русским США из-за этого даже снились. По крайней мере, мне снились однажды. Но почему-то это был городок где-то на южной границе, где-то рядом со штатом Техас, может быть даже это был как раз не американский город, а мексиканский Juarez. Хорошо запомнил этот сон, до мельчайших деталей, очень уж он был реалистичным, а что самое интересное - во сне понимал, что в этом городе находится мой дом, в котором я не был очень давно.
Но сейчас не об этом. А о том, что видеть США в таком состоянии - печально. И я знаю, что будет во много раз хуже, прежде чем США хотя бы частично смогут восстановиться. Больше всего в этой ситуации жаль обычных людей. Можно винить в этом политиков, можно винить в этом и народ, но что есть - то есть. Думаю, что многим американцам не нравится то, что происходит с их страной. Нам же остаётся только постараться не допускать таких же ошибок в будущем, которые обязательно приведут к аналогичной ситуации.
PS Если бы мне выпала возможность посетить США сегодня - я бы отправился пожить немного в консервативные штаты, аграрные. И на юг, конечно же, на поиски того самого места из моего сна (пусть и глупо это звучит). Также хотелось бы посмотреть национальные парки, природа всё-таки в Штатах тоже очень хороша. А все эти Нью-Йорки с Лос-Анджелесами и Сан-Франциско - не, спасибо, в другой раз или даже теперь никогда.
я тоже "вырос", и получилось, благодаря родителям побывать в Америке пару недель. До сих пор помню одногодок в отеле, в бассейне, в котором к русскому у парней-девчонок не было претензий и подозвали знакомиться. Это, кстати, было как раз в момент, когда США бомбили Югославию. И да, смотреть на те США было интересно, ведь рос я в т.ч. и на фильмах Один дома и иных популярных. В то время фильмы были не как сейчас (85-99 года), интереснее, логичнее, добрее даже и справедливее.
Тем не менее я с отрочества уже понимал, что жить хочу в России, в своей стране и улучшать её. В т.ч. людей, которых, овнюков, тоже есть не мало. Кстати мне тоже снились сны из всяких интересных пейзажных мест типа Техаса или ещё какой Канады или Нью-Йорка) Я надеюсь когда-то побывать в Америке, в т.ч. во Флориде (где был тот самый бассейн и где я общался с Анжеликой Ллойд.. жаль не было тогда почт электронных и телефонов, только адрес, по которому она, видимо, больше не живёт, а в интернетах её найти я не могу), но чем старше становлюсь, (а тогда мне было 14, а сейчас 39), тем больше понимаю, что мне это не светит - не заработаю 3-4т.у.е.

You must never have been to Southern California. Almost all the beaches are public. Pacific Coast Highway is one of the most beautiful roads in the world.There are only a small number of places that have restricted access and most of those are residential neighborhoods. I lived in California for about 15 years and never noticed the places I couldn't go. But you can stand on the cliffs above the Pacific and gaze out to infinity and know the closest land is in Asia. The sky is a special deep blue, from the salt crystals, I believe. The sun is bright but the air is cool and dry, or warm and dry. I've been to over 40 countries and it is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. Maybe not perfect, but darn close.@@almitrondecepticon2091

I recently argued with a liberal. I gave him the example of the homeless in California, that the United States is not a paradise and there is no such thing in Russia. But he still stood his ground that everyone dreams of leaving Russia for America, and the number of homeless people on the streets is only because the population in the USA is 2 times greater than in Russia.

I went back 2 months ago to pay them a visit and it’s a zombie apocalypse down there ! I thought I freakin landed in the wrong country. And it’s not just California, it’s also happening in places like Philadelphia, Colorado and Minnesota.

Почему так много бездомных? Потому что это деньги! Бездомные получают пособия, но кто отследит их всех? Так крупные суммы оседают в карманах далеко не бездомных людей. Все эти программы помощи бездомным, благотворительные организации просто отмывание денег и коррупция.

Very raw and confronting video 😳 I was horrified to see people living like this in such a wealthy city. There were parts in this video where I felt nauseated at the squalor. There were parts where I felt so much pity. I have to say there were also times I felt afraid for yourself and your sister. You are both much braver than me. Damn. I have mixed feelings on this type of stuff. On one hand, you are indeed showing an American reality. On the other hand, America has much, much more to offer. There is so much beauty here. I drive a lot between California and New Mexico on the way to/from work. Every drive, something exciting happens: I see something beautiful, I meet someone nice. However, like any country, America is a sum of its parts, and you've shown a part that needs some serious repair work. Our politicians and our society are failing many of these people.

Im half Russian half German and live my whole life in Germany. I have also visited the US in 2006 because I have family there. Honestly It breaks my heart to see what the US is becoming. It seems like we are witnessing the downfall of one of the greatest nations ever. If you are American and you are reading this, vote republican and make sure that there will be drastical changes with hard, if necessary violent punishments. There is no room for emotions and shit like that anymore. If you want to change your fate you have to rule with an iron fist, at least for a while. A very interesting excursion, God bless you. San Francisco homeless were transferred to hotels, thanks to APEC summit Chinese delegation attendance. LA needs China's help too. 😀The tax payers money should go to homeless instead to proxy wars. The citizens in LA are very kind to raise funds for free food at every corner of homeless. The government is blind and deaf for the poor people's needs.
Very large part of the russian population owns its own house largely because of the USSR, just like in every other Eastern European country. It is both part of our culture, and because it was elevated as part of the state goals - affordable and safe housing for everyone.
Then we have the fact that in modern times it is much, much harder to buy a house with an average income. At least it is so in Eastern Europe (Bulgaria). If we didn't have that socialist period I don't think we would enjoy so high percentage of people owning a house, so we would look a lot more like the US.

16:29 Completely agree. I think food banks and giving out food on every corner is the big part of the problem. These people mean well but they are not helping, they are actually making it worse, it's devastating for the moral and ethics of those who takes it. People that are fully fed will not have incentive to work and better their life, hunger is one of the best natural motivators, always been. Here in Czech to get government support, and that's like absolute minimum amount of money so you don't die of starvation, is so complicated and cumbersome that it's easier just to find a job. I'm all for helping mothers that just have a baby and physically can't work, very young kids, invalids or lonely seniors but healthy adults have to work to feed, clothe and house themselves.
If they really want to help, give this people a job and a decent place to live . " Helping a fisherman is to give him a fishing rod and a hook , not giving him a fish , "
I'm glad for all of you that you don't know what it's like when you can't work or don't want to hire you. But I'm sad that you have to be in a similar situation yourself to understand this. Trite, answer the question: would you live like this if food was distributed? Or is this way of life not satisfying for you, and is there something wrong here?
If there's no free food, there will be stolen food. Not everyone can buy things. They become lightheaded even if they're not on drugs.

Maximum I could go with no food at all was 7 days then I got lightheaded and felt like passing out, it was not my choice my business wasn't not preforming at all, whatever I did nothing worked. I managed to find money for food within one hour, as I said hunger it's the best motivator. It was not that long ago. You can always find a job, I know cause I always did when I really needed, construction, cleaning and such are always hiring, it's a dirty low level low pay job but better than nothing. I met local bums and construction or cleaning work is "below them", they would rather beg than work, it's a state of mind.
@i8Hardcore , that is why the government should make a way to give them jobs and give them a decent place to stay. The government are not really helping them if what they do is give them food every day. We are talking about people who can work, not people with disabilities. I am from a 3rd world country, we are poor , we work hard, that is why I know how it feels . US government needs to focus on internal problems before they fund those wars that don't give interest to Americans.

The US has weak family values. It’s difficult to have it this rough when there is a strong family unit and members care for each other. We have the same issue here in seattle drugs are legal, police cannot persue you unless they have probable couse for a violent crime, so theft is super high as are murders and robberies. And that goes for portland to. I had to move further away from seattle to a more conservative town and its night and day difference at the end you know what the problem is.

Когда я был маленьким балбесом мне моя бабушка доходчиво объяснила почему не стоит относится к людям плохо в виду их каких то проблем /недостатков или финансового положения . Добавить сюда что мое детство пришлось на конец 1990 начало 2000 года и мы сами жили не так что бы богато (откровенно говоря бедновато) . Нам повезло с родными друзьями и знакомыми . Все старались помочь друг другу (не в ущерб себе но весьма искренне ) . Нам помогали и мы помогали . Извиняюсь что не могу на Английском написать вам , пишу на Русском так как в Английском я слабоват (надо было лучше учить) , а писать через переводчик мне кажется неправильным (благо текст можно перевести с русского на английский и как мне кажется неточностей будет меньше ) . Доброго времени суток и хорошего вам настроения .
Там много хороших людей, и очень печально что из-за безразличия лицемерных царьков, они оказались в таком ужасном положении. Этот чëрный парень, проповедник или пастор, не помню, с такой болью о своём городе и стране говорил, очень жаль людей. Мы тоже хлебнули помоев в 90е от ваших политиков и наших продажных шкур, моë искреннее сочувствие этим людям. Благо хоть климат их не убьëт в первую же осень.

То что я увидел и услышал даже у меня вызывает печаль, не то что у искренних и хороших местны людей. Хотя, честно говоря, долгие годы я ничего хорошего Америке не желал. Гнев застилал глаза, я на себе ощутил искренность знаменитой "американской улыбки". Но проходит время, и чëрное/белое заменяется множеством иных красок, а людей начинаешь ценить за личные качества, а не за предпочтительную для тебя культуру или правильную страну.
