I am pleased to share some interesting early stamps from East Germany for the most part 1960 and before. I follow the DDR (Deutsche Demokratische Republik) stamps with some German Empire stamps starting with some officials, followed by Inflation period stamps of the Weimar Republic and then we end on a nice run of Paul Von Hindenburg Medallion stamps.
There are so many to like here its hard to name a favorite. Name few, I like the Carl Zeiss set, the Spunik I, & the Green "Woman & Leipzig Railroad Station"
