I work at T-Mobile and this phone is highly unrated for the price. It's the best bang for your buck phone out right now.
I think you missed the greatest point of all. It's a phone. How does it sound? Is the audio crisp and clear? My REVVL 5G has dual speakers and very good audio. This appears to have only one. Have they cut back in audio quality? Not everyone watches movies or plays games on their telephone. Some actually talk on them. How does this one fare in the "phone" department compared to others?

I just got the T-Mobile Revvl 7 pro today from Metro by T-Mobile store for 70.00 when I ported my number to Metro by T-Mobile coming from cricket got the 75.00 plan got the phone I'm loving it
Please get the moto g stylus 5g 2024 over this phone, it just came to metro and it's a much better device

I just got my revvel 7 pro the screen is amazing and bright. There're two problems that Im having at the moment and they are trouble finding a case and lag when playing a mobile game.

P.S. The version released in Romania (and I believe it's the same in all Europe) has a single physical SIM slot, a micro SD slot and supports ESIM. No network lock at all. Supports dual SIM mode with the physical SIM and the ESIM, but not with 2 ESIMs

Honestly,i I downgraded from s22 ultra,still have it but this phone didn't disappoint at all.overall performance is pretty good.cant really tell the difference.screen is vivid and crisp for a budget phone.and 8 GB of ram and more than 128 storage..worth it.

It's pretty bright. The only issue I have is when taking photos outside, it's hard to see the screen.

Planning on this for my daily. Work construction and need somthing rugged enough to last, my Revvl 6 pro has been nice for what i need it. Lately power button is going out but luckily swapping it in will help my case. Recently picked up an S22 Ultra and missed it having had an S20U before.
Greetings from Romania! I was having concerns about something being wrong with my phone in particular, as indeed, video at 1080 60 fps goes in and out of focus when moving around. Seems like there's an issue with the whole series. In Romania, they did not sell it under the REVVL brand, but as T-Phone 2 Pro. Another thing that I've noticed is that it's not charging at more than 2A (checked with Ampere and Accubattery apps), regardless the fast charger I've been using. Otherwise, great screen, good speeds on Wifi and 5G and good cellular connectivity in terms of dBm compared to other phones
Buy it outright and Tmobile will Sim unlock it and then you can use it with Mint or US Mobile
What is the max internet speed of this phone? The Rev 6 pro was capped at 390 Mbs and now it won't get more than 30 Mbs after I was forced to take an upgrade/ Thank you. Please include that info in your reviews
I just bought one and got on for free . Its pretty nice so far . I hope they come out eith a update for the camras thoe .
So far the phone has surpassed my expectations for the price. However it's ridiculous that T-Mobile most T-Mobile locations don't stock cases or screen protectors. It took 2 weeks before Amazon was suggested. 😕
Funny thing is th 2022 Moto G Stylus had 8gb Ram the 2023 had 6gb and the 2024 has 8gb

Gesture bar is always present running stock android. One UI 6 have that option after downloading a navigation module in good lock.
Go to the navigation settings on the phone then change it to 3 button navigation

I love this phone i just wish it came in the white the 7 comes in. That white looks good very clean and sleek looking.

The volume is extremely low on Bluetooth speaker when pairing with this revvl 7
Had it for 3 days and it's already having a network issue. CZcams works fine social media at least some I have also works fine. However now discord and games are unable to be played or used because of a "network error" which is odd considering that it's new id say that's a con at the moment and now the phone is mostly unusable game wise and discord wise. Yes I already restarted phone, checked permissions, checked phone updates, and factory reset it and still the issue has stayed
It says the network error, which mean a lot of things, especially gaming and discord. The connection of the phone to the network is fine if you can watch YT but when gaming you rely on the other server to response. There is a constant communication back and forth when its multiplayer gaming or while chatting in the game. So, is it the network error on your end, your phone, or the on the other end the game servers? When you game on PC with the same game and discord, the parameter for pc might be different than of the android OS. Since the phone only come out in May it might need update and have issue. I really don't think you narrow down you trouble shooting yet. It can be many things that cause the network error message.
You may wanna call t-mobile support.Last time they helped, they even called back to see if the fix was still working for me - unusual, right? 😊

If so, this could literally one of the best modern phones for portable audio.
PD3.0, USB Type-C 3.0, microSDXC, Android 14, and a 3.5mm if you forget your external DAC.
The only phone that comes close is the $1000 Sony Xperia 1 V, but Sony has quality control issues.
Not to mention it looks like Sony is pulling out of the US smartphone business.
Other than that, there is no other phone with these specifications that works on the US 5G bands in my area.
I know it has 120 refresh rate how's the animation and speed performance......?????

T-Mobile Revvl are made by TCL. For those wondering. Last Revvl I had got heavy use and the battery was shot after 18 months. But I probably over charged it. Still seems good value for $249. With that big good quality screen, 8g/256 and snap gen 6. Too bad about the video problem.
Some previous ones were made by TCL, but the most recent ones were made by Wingtech. Not sure of this one, but the 6 was by Wingtech, not TCL.

does this phone have usbc alt display out? a lot of budget phones have usbc 2.0 and that doesnt have video
Yes usb-c and 3.5mm jack for audio. You can find the specs if you search online. you can add extra micro-SD up to 2tb, which is a lot for a phone; it comes with 256gb of memory I think (good enough for pictures and some videos). I don't know if can alt display out by usb-c but it has blue tooth which you can connect to your tv if the tv or others device have the same thing, blue tooth.

The only difference between Last years MotoG Stylus and this years is 2gb of Ram same Processor. Id say the revel is a rebranded Moto

my Samsung a52 was pricier and has all the same camera problems. Had it for a year and its malfunctioning now so I'm just going to say F it and get one of these. The phones break down the month they get paid off each and every time for me so might as well get it cheaper, when it's practically the same anyway.
Tmobile out here proving that it IS possible to have 8gigs of ram, a 5000mah battery, a powerful snapdragon CPU, all with a proper 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom without ruining anything else. No other company has any excuse to not have ones going forward. I used to have a Revvl 4+, and loved that thing dearly. I upgraded to a new (at the time) Moto Edge 2022 two years ago but I think I might upgrade next year. I hope the Revvl 8 improves further because I could see myself getting another Tmobile phone at some point!

I have the Samsung A15 5g and the Revvl 7 Pro 5g. I like the Revvl better honestly, and I would pick either over the Motorola, and the Revvl over both. I work at T-Mobile.

T-Mobile is giving this phone away for 24 months of future loyalty for any phone in any condition which includes multiple pieces and charge tax and a $35 activation fee so I got mine for $54 in exchange for a no name G2 phone. I have the Revvl + 5g and it's far superior to that model.
I will get it for my son as a new line and it's free (of course with the 35-buck activation fee). My plan just goes up $10 a month for family plan with T mobile. I get all my kids' phone for free this way as they grow up and needed a phone. It's a good deal! My daughter broke couple of them and I had to pay for a replacement. lol.

Does it have dual front facing speakers or no?
From my understanding, it uses the main speaker (by the charging port) and the earpiece for dual loudspeaker audio.
