    For those watching outside of the Caribbean and the diaspora, who not sure:
    Channa is chickpeas
    Dhal is split peas
    Saffron (in this case) is tumeric powder
    Normal flour is all-purpose flour

      Split peas are also yellow lentils

    I tried this....and my husband who does not like fried food...went back for seconds...so that says it all for me. I added some geera, shadow beni and some hot pepper to it.

    Shubh Navratri ..I tried this Kachori, recipe .. it was amazing .. thanks for sharing ..neighbors were loving that "Indian food smell" . you gotta love Kazzie .. she is just adorable!

    Dhal or split peas powder in package
    Grind channa or channa powdwr or flour at most super markets can make it easier optional you can leave the onions out well done welk done
