Thanks Jason! really helpful as my oil change is not due yet, but the warning came up. Which makes me want to ask if anybody knows how that feature is supposed to work? The ECU should tell you when to change the oil, but based on what? I know that on more expensive cars, the computer does it based on usage; e.g. engine running time, speed, based on an Reliability Centered Maintenance algorithm. Meaning the dealership advice to change oil every 3000 miles is moot. Anyone knows how it is computed for the Ford Transit Connect?
it's about 7k on semi synthetic oil and still no indication. I'm thinking this is normal/ok? I'm just scared as I've never had one of these newfangled thangs.
I looked at another video. Turned the key on all the way before ignition. Oil change warning came up, then pressed both pedals all the way, then I got the reset pop up, I waited for too fucking long , and it resetted.
This has got to be the most asinine way of reseting an oil life monitor that I have ever seen. Why not just have a button in the menu that resets it?
Fucking right it didn’t work the first time I tried it xD
The newer models do
Thanks bro. Couldn't figure this shit out for the life of me.
This helped me out! Big thanks!

This didn't work for me. Here's what I did:
Ignition on, press both pedals, wait for OK message, let go of pedals, then ignition off.
I had the same situation
