- Today's video is a glimpse behind the scenes painting, making mystery boxes, and packing lots of orders! This studio vlog was filmed over about 2 months, so if it looks like I did a lot of stuff... it was definitely over a very long period of time! 💜 Anyway, I hope you enjoy seeing what it looks like from a different view while I normally film, what it looks like to pack orders in my shop, and just the random things tucked in along the way!

Aw, thank you! I have a babysitter come 2-3 days a week for a couple hours so I can still work part time. 💜

Thanks for the process footage- not every artist likes to show the hard work and real life behind the art! Those raised bed gardens are so cheerful. Looks like you're getting a lot done, but even with all the activity, we can see the careful attention to studio craft- there's no shortcut to good results!
I love the behind the scenes vlogs for any artist, it's always interesting to see how they do things. And this one rekindled my keenness to make an effort to change my art into washi tape, sticky notes, etc. ❤

You have inspired me to paint monstera plants. They are just so beautiful. I can't even keep a fake succulent alive 😂 but I love painting plants. I live in the tropics and there are so many different plants and botanical gardens to be inspired by.

(QUESTION) ? I, like you, am a mother of twins (boy & girl) Noah and Ellie,. Anyway, I was wondering if you will ever paint a scene with stuffed animals, or toys? I would love to purchase something to hang in the twins nursery. I don't know of any artist, besides yourself and Chloe Rose (whom I also love). That paint larger scenes that aren't animated. I am looking for more realistic, yet sweet and precious. If you aren't doing anything like this for your channel, then I would be interested in having some commissioned work done. Look forward to your response. (Ex. An old stuffed, pastel bunny, laying on a white, child's rocking chair. Maybe building blocks in the floor...etc)

Question...When you paint, How often do you struggle with painting your own memories, opposed to painting what is considered "marketable" work. I hope that makes sense. Also, do you ever find yourself relying on the same color pallet? I really struggle with this myself.
Great questions! I tend to use a very similar color palette a lot, but I don’t view it as a struggle. If it makes you feel more creative and you’re drawn to those colors, then I think it’s awesome you’re using them to create! As far as painting goes, I think I abandoned what is “marketable” when I started painting water, flowers, and landscapes more and just embraced the fact that I’m a phasy artist and go from one thing to another pretty fast, haha! I hope that answers your questions! 😁😁
