Many thanks for an excellent explanation of how CGMs work (Venus Blood/Capillary Blood/Fluid between cells), their accuracy (or rather the lack of it in some typical situations), their exorbitant price and who are the ones who can benefit from (the ones who are on insulin and can afford the price of a CGM). Just a humble suggestion -a group of like-minded friends, all of whom are diabetic and stay close by, can pool money and buy a CGM and rotate its possession when another group member has a need for it (he, of course has to buy the patch).
Yes, need patchs and they cost more and need to be purchased regularly!!!

Dear Dr pramod - can you help me with one question I have about taking Amla ? Can I take I teaspoon of organic pure Amla powder maximum with water daily for cleaning stomach and digestion and for all its benefits like vitamin-c doze, good for diabetics BP etc ? Is it safe to take 1 teaspoon daily with water in empty tummy for good bowel movements and general health ? Will it cause bleeding issues or kidney stones for a patient with portal vein pressure post cancer chemo treatment ? Please reply asap!
