I think he is quite handsome actually.....but, I've noticed that any time I've listened to a faceless narrator for at least a year or more...and they do a face reveal, it ALWAYS seems uncanny, that voice you know so very well speaking out from a stranger's face....I think the mind just naturally builds a hypothetical human being to illustrate a voice you engage with often, and the reveal is always jarring somehow.

No one expected a drop dead gorgeous person, no one asked for a face reveal, then it came out of nowhere. The comment section was suddenly all about the creators looks and not about the content anymore. After a while it all went back to the old format (understandable!). It was interesting for me to observe how certain men can fall into a situation so many women are very familiar with. Very handsome- can't be smart? Very smart- can't be handsome?

He's got downturned eyes ("negative canthal tilt"), a slightly hooked nose, and of course that honkin' big chin contributing to the "weak middle third" of his face. It does all somehow harmonize and he's better looking than not, i.e. above average.

Part of it is that he said some polarizing things on social media, though I think a more significant part of it is envy, he is better looking than most people. I was really waiting for this analysis because I'm kind of going through something similar. But in my case I did the opposite, people that only knew me for my voice assumed that I'm attractive but I kept telling them that I'm actually quite ugly (because I'm that insecure) but when the time came and I had to show my face to few people, they thought I was actually pretty.
Twitter is beyond brutal - Dream is definitely not 'hideous'. The fact that he was "fancasted" (weird in itself) on Twitter as various Pinterest models already had him set up to fail.

They're still conventionally attractive, but are brought down by a few key features.
Austin is his hairline, and his bigger eyes, but it's made-up for by just how well his other features still look.
Will's would be his bigger eyes, and just how chubby his face can be, but is made-up for by his beard.
Ryan would be just how squishy certain aspects of his face can be in places that semi-conflict with his sharper features.
Jack would be a less prominent jaw and aging eyes.

These are baseline, boy-band-attractive types.
They're attractive, but either lack enough defining features to be particularly attractive, or have one or two excessively defined features that push them down from a higher number.
6's would be Cyr, Sykkuno, Ludwig types.
They're still attractive for sure, but their less attractive features either begin to outnumber, or match their attractive features.

Generally large eyes, big ears, unaesthetic teeth, either a weak, or excessively strong jawline, excess folding where features meet in expressions-- really, your truly general guy.
Comparing your 5's to your 7's, I think you'll find that the social media, baseline attractive, is really a good few points higher than your real, general baseline attractive.

He knew he could only do it once and he decided this was the most profitable time. Or he might have felt like his popularity was waning, and he had to do something extreme to try to remain popular a little longer.
