Hiking in the Blue Hills | INCREDIBLE Boston Skyline Views

- Join us this week as we hike the Skyline Trail in the Blue Hills Reservation. Make sure to stay until the end for some incredible views of the Boston skyline and the Atlantic Ocean!
The Blue Hills Reservation is a state park located just over 10 miles south of Boston, Massachusetts. Its rolling hills are filled with beautiful hiking trails, parks, and even a ski hill.
The hike we did today was called "the Great Blue Hill via the Skyline Trail", which is a 3 mile hike that goes to the top of the Great Blue Hill and finishes with views of the Boston skyline, as well as the Atlantic Ocean beyond. There is also a historic observation tower at the top of the Great Blue Hill that has a great pavilion area for snacks or drinks.

In the summer of 2020 it was the greatest I went hiking all time, went the beach with my wife no mask you guys are young I'm over 50 live a little for GS.
Blue hills is one of our local faves! Your story telling is getting so good. Loved watching you guys explore this place we have loved. Its a fun hike in the winter too in the snow!

What a beautiful hike! And the views are incredible! It’s seems moderately challenging...I think my daughter would love it. It’s so nice to have the trail all to yourself. What a sense of freedom to not have to wear a mask and enjoy fresh air for a few hours! 😊

It really was! And oh yeah we love that app - we use it all the time :)
The first hill is hancock hill and I never wore a mask outside my house, only in the stores when I was forced to do so. Knock on wood no covid yet. If you can do the blue hills then you can do Mt Kearsarge and Mount Major in NH no problem. The great blue hill is only 600 feet but you go over two other hills to get to it so the elevation gain is close to 1K. Also there is a loop path on the first hill (hancock) and some views of Boston. Actually better than the tower because it's closer and there is nobody there so you have it to yourself. Anyway cool hike I use this to keep myself in shape for bigger hikes in NH

Wow I'm getting winded just watching you guys do the hike. I don't think I'd make it up and down the rock scrambles 🤣🤦♀️. The view looks incredible from the top, well worth it. Neat fire tower too! Very cool that you can just go up the tower. I need to visit the Boston area as soon as borders open.
