I'm not surprised with this man's story. This was the reason we asked my father to resign before they would kill him. An honest person doesn't work in Govts if you are to work with them. You must mind your business while working for Govts.
Unfortunately, so many thieves work in the bank and they're hardly fished out.
I had similar experience with the same cbn in july 1994 after facing series of panel I was retired under rationalisation exercise in1996.That young man cannot get justice as far as that institution called cbn is concerned.

It is true that everyone has weaknesses in his own area. But if your area is money, then you don't qualify to handle public funds. If it is lack of sympathy, then you don't qualify to handle weapons or join force.

I was in sympathy with those that were sacked in CBN but with this revelation, I think CBN needs total surgical operation.
This is Nigeria for you. It is only in Nigeria that they notice that the fruit is not good instead of changing the tree, they will nourish the tree and persecute the person that suggested for the tree to be changed. Corruption also has power to fight back in Nigeria.

From experience I would have suggested that Bar. Michael or any one handling should have filled to the Federal High Court to compel CBN under FOI to release the report and any other documents before proceeding to Court on reinstatement. Moreover, Legal Aid Council may inform the court to compel the defendants to produce those documents. Also, there is an aspect that could be dangerous and injurious!

Did CBN carry out forensic examination of the box containing the money which was found in the ceiling ? I weep for Nigeria corruption.
CBN is not interested in any examination, in fact, they are angry that the guy tried to expose them.

The guy missed it! He was supposed to reconcile the MDBs ticket to deposit with his register.
He did not report same day but issue of reconciliations came up the following day. Hence, it was discovered that one box was missing.
