Yup. This is my husband. He reacts like a crime has been committed, even tho dishes are only comprised of what was available at the time 😂 like chill it’s not that serious! Dip the bread in the JUS!!!!
no becomes ever baby's favorite word to the point where they say it by accident and back track every three minutes, ppl find it annoying but i think its so sweet and funny haha
this was so heartwarming to watch, thank you for sharing. it brings me back to memories with eating out with my parents and just enjoying life care-free. i’ve never heard of dipping the banh mi in pho broth though 😂
I had a friend in elementary school that was Vietnamese. His family didn’t want him to stray away from the language so when he was at home it was strictly thier language and if he spoke English even by accident he was hit and slapped in the mouth
girl you got me craving pho and sugarcane juice now, but my fave viet restaurants are halfway across the country in cali 😭😭 viet food in the midwest is so mid when cali/tx is top tier, once you have it you can never go back
A friend of mine who is also Vietnamese she is adopted, her parents are American.. she speaks Vietnamese so fluently she calls her parents Ba Me too !! She recently showed her parents how to eat pho and Banh Mi together !! They loved it ❤️
My dad is your typical Irish, white, boomer. Born in 1951. Never had any type of Asian food. Chinese food is my absolute favorite. He has always made comments like I don’t see how anyone can eat that stuff! Yuck. Etc etc! One day I brought home a to go box from my fav place. I talked him into trying it. This man devoured everything in that box. Now we go to Chinese food places all the time. He’s tried Japanese food. I’m proud of him for venturing out. But them dad’s are honest. lol. They don’t hold back when they don’t like something. 😂
I would have never thought of trying this place out if it wasn't for watching you eat with your parents and teaching us all how to eat PHO with that sub. I lived in Arlington for 3 years, always drove by those Vietnamese markets, but never stopped to try them. And now I have to google what that sub is called.
My fav pho is Pho Chau in Dallas on Mockingbird a hole in the wall but so good! We have tried a lot of places in the DFW but so far it’s been the winner!
Ba Le was my family’s favorite too growing up, I’ll check out Phoholic next time I’m in DFW - I never would’ve thought to stop there based on the non-traditional Viet name, haha.
ever since alyssa put me on bánh mì dipped in pho broth i’ve never gone back. the pho softens the baguette up just enough, without getting soggy, to stop you from scraping the roof of your mouth. i never would have thought that bánh mì needed any other flavour but man do these compliment each other. you dad is missing out!
Adam is waaaaaay well behaved than most toddler I knew or took care of. Hes also soooo adorable. He always steals the show 😂❤
Haha dad never wants to try the experimental way of eating traditional dishes 🤣🤣
Yup. This is my husband. He reacts like a crime has been committed, even tho dishes are only comprised of what was available at the time 😂 like chill it’s not that serious! Dip the bread in the JUS!!!!

‘Don’t fix it if it ain’t broke.’ 😂
Adam,s smile to the camera... silent 'hi....' ... so cute.
no becomes ever baby's favorite word to the point where they say it by accident and back track every three minutes, ppl find it annoying but i think its so sweet and funny haha
Adam's growing, i remember him wearing that plastic helmet, he looked like a cute magneto, the x-man villain 👌😷😁☺❤
Adam is so adorable. Also oh my god, gaming foodie looks just like her mom!
Yes she does!

I never heard bout it either til my my husbands co worker put him on. They’re Vietnamese 😀
I was waiting for Adam to get the "you're Vietnamese, you have to like it!"
You and your family are so cool. Love listening to Vietnamese language and how your emphasis flows smoothly 🍜❤
Thank you so much!!

Love how you speak Viet VERY fluently with your parents. Im sure they feel much more connected with you that way vs English ❤
I had a friend in elementary school that was Vietnamese. His family didn’t want him to stray away from the language so when he was at home it was strictly thier language and if he spoke English even by accident he was hit and slapped in the mouth
Gaming foodie's momma wearing Gaming foodie's trusted coat, what a bond 😭🧿

Loved seeing your parents in this one.
This is the content I live for !
Was waiting on her to say “I don’t make the rules.” After listing what to get and how to eat it.

This place is the literal best pho restaurant! I immediately recognized the seats lol.
Love your videos!
I love the way you want your mom and day to try the things you are eating and drinking 🥲
Omg your mom is wear Store 13 from West Covina CA, circa 2010s hahaha so dope! Grew up going there 🫶🏼
Adam is so stinkin cute, I have a son around his age and he’s learning how to talk as well 😅

My fav pho is Pho Chau in Dallas on Mockingbird a hole in the wall but so good! We have tried a lot of places in the DFW but so far it’s been the winner!
My fave is Pho Bistro off Frankford/Old Denton!! If you haven’t been you should go!
Adam is the cutest!!!
I love Ba Le! I usually just go to the counter and get banh mi though bc their's is the best
Breakfast?! That was breakfast? Holy moly…
I wish you could take me to a pho restaurant and shows me all the things to order so I can learn. Everything looks so good!!
I do sometimes feel like some pho is too perfumy. I like the natural flavor of the broth more. So I get what he's saying. 😊
The over seasoning star anise and over powering cinnamon is too powerful for me too, just alittle please so that I can taste the wonderful broth lol ❤
As a mexican, we do be living to dip bread in our soup. This is regional, but i dip my bread in menudo all the time
We neeeeeed a mom's pho recipe!!!!!!
Adam is so cute ❤❤
My brother lives in Texas and this is his favorite pho place too ..
dad got that drip
Omg, what time did you go it’s usually packed when I go.
Yesss, sugar cane with kumquat is the best!!! I don't even drink sugar cane juice without kumquat in it
Ba Le was my family’s favorite too growing up, I’ll check out Phoholic next time I’m in DFW - I never would’ve thought to stop there based on the non-traditional Viet name, haha.
Actually Phoholic is located in Southern California
I love pho soup have strong flavor of coriander seeds too.
Adam is such a cutie 💓 I can't tell if you look more like your mum or your dad. You definitely have your mum's eyes
I 100% have my dads personality 😂😂
I love strong star anise flavor in my pho broth too.
Adam is sooooooo cute!
Your dad is OG.
thats my dad as well everything is okay LMAO
Your mom is so beautiful and looks so young. You guys look like you could be sisters definitely not like mom and daughter.
I'm with Grandpa, I like eating things the traditional way
Damn! You can eat! That's what i'm talking about!
My pho place must be Americanized because it never looks like that and I love pho 🥲
Please someone tell me what the drink was so I can go find it 🙏🏾
Nice eyebrows, you and your mom
Love sugarcane
Haha😂
pho in that bowl is wild, wont they get hot?
I would so watch a video where you teach us vietnamese, you should think about it 😏 💯👨⚖😎
It always amazes me how much you can eat?
more star anise the better
yes
That was breakfast?
Hahaha yes! Pho is usually breakfast, lunch or dinner. Celebratory meal or everyday. When you’re feeling happy or sad, hungover or feeling A1!
Love pho but don’t care much for star anise aftertaste
you do you but i dont dip bánh mì in my phở like that.
ever since alyssa put me on bánh mì dipped in pho broth i’ve never gone back. the pho softens the baguette up just enough, without getting soggy, to stop you from scraping the roof of your mouth. i never would have thought that bánh mì needed any other flavour but man do these compliment each other. you dad is missing out!
