College of Dance 'Blood Brothers' from the College's 2023 Annual Performances

This performance, restaged by the College of Dance’s Vocal and Drama teacher Sean Gilligan, is extracts from the musical Blood Brothers. Performed by both the first and second year students during the 2023 end-of-year showcase in the Helix Theatre, Dublin.
Blood Brothers is a musical with book, lyrics and music created by Willy Russell. It tells the story of fraternal twins, Mickey and Eddie, who were separated at birth. They go onto live very different lives, one being raised in a wealthy family and the other in a poor family. This different dynamic means they grow up at opposite ends of the social spectrum. In a cruel twist of fate they both fall in love with the same woman.
