Founded in 1990, the College of Dance is Ireland’s premier dance and performing arts college. We provide full-time, foundation level, professional dance and performing arts training. Our graduates have gone on to study, and win scholarships to, some of the most prestigious international conservatoires for dance and performing arts. College graduates can be found working professionally worldwide.
The College of Dance courses provides an intensive and stimulating education in all aspects of dance and performing arts, required by those aiming to pursue a career as a professional dancer. College of Dance - 'Zombie' cast 2 at Perform Festival 2024
Our Sunday main stage performance at Perform Festival in the RDS saw the return of ‘Zombie’. Created by the College’s Artistic Director and Head of Contemporary Dance, Samantha Lyons, this fantastic dance feature a cast rotation so students had to learn alternate parts of the dance. Performed by our entire student body which included all transition year, one-year certificate and two-year diploma students. The performance again blew the roof off the RDS and the students loved performing this as their closing main stage dance of Perform Festival 2024. We can’t wait to be back next year.
