Zambia: Under Chinese influence (full-length version) | Reporters Plus • FRANCE 24 English

  • China's presence is visible all over Africa. But nowhere as much as in Zambia, the African nation where it invested the most money last year. The ties between Beijing and Lusaka are strong and have existed for decades. Today, China possesses one third of Zambia's national debt. It has invested in the mining and industrial sectors, but also in agriculture. Some Zambians denounce this Chinese presence as a form of neo-colonialism.

The problem is not the Chinese, but leadership without a vision for its own people. All that Zambians need is a government that believes in empowering its own people first and powering up the Industrialization opportunities. Making loans to native Zambians accessible. Make sure that your land policy do not encourage land grab by foreigners to avoid a slave like situation for the next generation. Leadership is indeed a problem and colonization is still in the mind of many locals. How can you imagine another human being as angel instead of exploring your human potential. Wake Up

The young people need to educate themselves wholistically and realize tbe future of Africa depends on them. To not spend all their time on non-educational nonsense on social media from the West, and brianwashed to be materialistic. They need to become more socially conscious; and stand up for their rights in unity with one accord.
The Chinese are building large luxurious houses for themselves on lots of land while the Zambians need tbe land for agriculture; and they bring their antibiotic , toxic GMO-fed chickens to overtake the locals naturally fed chickens. They took their lands, bulldoze their houses, and deport them to delapidated houses with the no water and impassable road with no community amenities such as a clinic or hospital. The problem is they need Africa but they do not want to share . They want to always have a much greater advantage and their well-being taken care of with suffering and loss to the local Africans.

I'm not African, I'm not Western, and I'm not Asian either.
The only way for the West to combat Chinese influence in Africa is by making greater investments. The question remains, without Chinese investments, what would be left to the natives?
The problem of the West is that it makes a promise and in exchange for that promise it makes a lot of demands, but profits never reach of the country.
The West has dominated financial assets, the Chinese are dominating commodities, it's just a political fight. Western companies like to own everything without paying for anything, the Chinese can create everything, but they demand control of everything they build.
In this question there I don't see any serious error of chinese people.
