How to make a lightsaber video effect in VSDC Pro

- Ever wanted to recreate the legendary lightsaber effect in a video? It's easier than you think!
All you need to get started is footage where someone is using a stick or a blade. From this tutorial, you'll find out how to turn them into a lightsaber using the color of your choice.
Keep in mind: for this effect to work, you'll need to use the motion tracking module available in VSDC Pro only.

Plz plz I beg you. Teach us how to do off-centre smooth rotation transition and how to use anchors , add motion tile effect. I want to do rotating transition without black bars

Okay. VSDC, more of this. This is how you do tutorials. Maybe a tutorial on how to use the manual color corrections next time?
Just go to video effects and go to adjustments and select a effect and then press add layer and okay then go to ye properties window and tweak the numbers using either numbers or manual graphs or wheels

does pro versio has the same feature that if i want move several "objects/segments" and they are in differen layers, the order goes mess up and there will be empty spots

This works, right up until I add the multiple gaussian blurs. Then, the lightsaber effect sticks only to the box on the first frame, and when the sword moves out of that "box", the effect goes away, staying in the box location.
I have the same issue as you, Dax and can't seem to rectify it.

quick question, there is a glitch currently where when i press play un a project, it freezes the preview pane. im a little confused why it does this, as ive been using this editor for the past 3 years without a problem. is there a fix?

Hi Alno, you can try to reduce the video preview quality (dropdown menu right next to the preview play button) or skip frames during the preview.
I could use some help with this. Why @3:52 do you hit "Set same size as the parent has" and you don't say anything about it or why. When I hit that button, my Sprite disappears - I can't see it anywhere, and I have to Undo that.
The position of the duplicate files may slightly differ from the parent, so we recommend using this option to align the files: prnt.sc/efVFFis_dl9J
Just select a duplicate and click that button.

As a video maker on CZcams, I use VSDC just about every day, unfortunately when it comes down to the more advanced options there just out of my skill set, but I have been using VSDC now for a few years and after trying plenty of other video editors I think yours is the best...

without turn on/off animation all this effect is kinda joke.You'd rather take care of built in transitions effects.
