I really like the new carnotaurus , tho i prefer the last ones eyes and teeth color, i do like this ones colour scheme over all
The dinosaur design caught my eye in the thumbnail. I think the Carnotaurus looks so cool!
Also nice review Jang, I agree with the Kenji's legs looking weird and that the price is a tad bit expensive.
Lego: puts Owen into every set
Collectors: this is getting out of hand, now there are too many of them
There are too many of them, what are we going to do?
So true hahaha
@@SpaceMonkeyBoi ''Lightsaber ignites''
Better start your Owen Clone Army.
I have an Owen army
I understand that prices are higher when we get sets with dinosaurs, but you have to admit, they look pretty darn cool! I like this version of the Carnotaurus better, the color scheme makes it seem more fierce.
I absolutely LOVE the fact that the vehicle can fit 2 minifigs side by side, and in addition to that can seat an extra third one! Not even mentioning openable doors!
The main bulk of the car is 6 studs wide (though it seems to extend to 8 studs with the mudguard), which begs the question: why isn't LEGO allowing 2 side by side seats in City cars? That's already the case in Friends cars. That's now the case in Speed Champions. I hope City gets the conversion too. It might not look like much, but it adds a lot in my humble opinion.
I agree itâs silly that the flying car or ford Anglia for Harry Potter as just one example continues to repeatedly have the design of one figure behind the other instead of the much better 2002 design. They could easily have it hold 4 figures if they wanted to if they combined both designs. Really though if they had to stick to only two figures Iâd go with the figures crammed but successfully next to each other instead of the front and back design of the newer models for sure. Itâs so much more proper.
you'd think a $20 lizard wouldn't rattle?
i think the carnoutarus should be 30 dollars not 20, 20 seems too low for a big dinosaur
Jang has discovered a new species:
Maracasaurus.
If only they sold the dinos separately...
Ikr. Imagine a dino battle pack-type set.
You can order pieces in Brick and pieces but only by phone.
you can. although they are very expensive! check out bricklink and search whatever dino you want :)
That would be great if you could just get the dino
That wouldnât be a good move for Lego because nobody would buy the actual sets.
Nice set, really like the truck, with LEGO cars I always have to mod them but finally a two seater
I really, really like the 6 wheeler truck build here. Iâd imagine part of that price bump has to do with the license as well.
Great video, as always Jang!
Yet another vehicle that seats two minifigs side by side, well done Lego!
If only they made a T-Rex in that dark brown color, it would be so perfect and accurate.
Hi Jang, I just bought it. Nice set đ
Howâs the Dino in person?
@@johntyjj209 the Dino is good, my kids donât mind about the colour and donât have sound effect like Jangâs đ. Overall my kids liked the Dino.
It's weird that when Lego distributed the campers between sets that they don't have Ben and Toro in the same set.
Iâm planning to buy this set (like the Dino and missed on the previous one). As for the wobbling legs, I have the latest version of the Indominus Rex, and his legs are exactly the same as what you Jang showed(
Hey Jang, I hope you see this, I just wanted to say, how amazing your videos are and how much of an inspiration to me ive watched your videos since 2014. I hope you keep the great content up. Have a great day.
Definitely expensive but i'll admit the builds look surprisingly good.
When jang releases a video it is a good day
Great video very informative and well reviewed đ
Itâs a great set. Looks good too, only wished that Owen was replaced with a character from the show, like one of the counselors.
I will wait for it to be around $40 before I get it.
love it!
Man, the printed shorts seems so outdated and cheap. I would never have expected something like that in the dual molded era. Feels so sad to see Lego cutting corners like that.
Finally new jurassic world reviews!
Cool review Jang I would get this set when itâs very cheap on sale keep up the good lego videos did
As long as the Carn can eat people itâs good
The parts on that truck will be great for a custom Jeep Wrangler!
So glad to see another helicopter
The best set of the 4 new ones, but my carnotaurus makes this noise too, I hope Lego will correct this problem for the Dominion sets.
The helicopter also reminded me of Masrani's in the first JW, really nice model and well finished / made.
Personally, I prefer the new carnotaurus to the first, but I completely agree that the eye is more threatening on the first, and that the color of the teeth looks better on this one too.
Without doubt one of the best JW sets since the original in 2015, if not the best in my eyes (except for minifigs).
âHey thatâs a nice set-â
âFifty dollars.â
â-never mind.â
my 2018 carnotaurus also has those weird legs
Same...
I have it and I think it's a great set!!!
I'm digging the truck, but haven't we had enough of these bare bones helicopters? I'm just not feeling the terror of the carnivorous dino. Great for the youngn's I suspect.
Nice new content, if only the core parts (Dino vs. Vehicle). But then, a mixbag again: another Heli, another Owen ..
Were are the trees, rocks, ichnites, container, facilities, and traffic-signs :)
If .. there were a Truck&Driver set (aka Convoy pack), a Rescue&Owen set (aka Hero pack), a Heli&Boss set (aka Trash pack) and a Dino&Vegetation set (aka Jurassic pack), then you lock me in.
Fun fact (I think) toro is the same carnosaurus as the one in fallen kingdom cause at the end of the first season she gets caught in a explosion which leaves the same marks as the carno from the movie also they both have the same scar
Are those 1x2x2 window frames new in dark red? Egregious color inconsistencies aside, that's pretty exciting! The vehicle builds in this set are actually really good overall.
I just hope there will be new dinosaurs in future JW sets, not just recolors.
Hey jang I managed to get this set for ÂŁ25 in the UK so I think that's well worth that
Well I missed the last carnotaurus, so this is my only option lol. But you've sold me on the set.
Imagine another brand asking for 20$ for a toy dinosaur this size.
I wish there was a set with just the Dinos. I just want Dinoâs lol. Like the old lego Dinosaur line you open a pack and get a Dino and build it.
Yeah, I saw this at Walmart for like $40. Same price as a collectorâs set but it had half the amount of pieces lol
These always go on sale in UK
I wonder what it WOULD look like with medium azure⊠đ€
Itâs on sale now at Target đŻ $39.99 just got the set.
How long did it take
When you get an alert at 3:50am because a new Jang video is out! đ€
these look a lot more like the heavyweight Carnotaurs in Disney's 2000 "Dinosaur" movie
I wish they cut owen and helicopter and made it 40$
Love new carno as much as the old one
I love this content! Keep it up, this is REAL entertainment.
I mean, if it was 15 ⏠cheaper I might pick this up. But for the current price, the carnotaurus better be a real living dinosaur.
đ€Ł
Its like owen grady farmboy luke and R2-D2 are created every year
Not the boat escape?!
Curiosamente los primeros vĂdeos que vi de tu canal fueron de los sets de lego jurassic world del 2015.
Por cierto muy buen vĂdeo.
Very good.
Hello
Is that a Mercedes Benz AMG c63 6x6âïžâïžđłđł
I like the new ones striped body but the scar and head ruins him. so i like the old ones
I would pay $25-$30 maximum for this set for the amount of stuffs
why not the red wheels ?
looks so borring in grey
I think 30 $ would be a fair price for this amount of "toy" that you get. I was utterly shocked when I heard the "50"
Seeing that the dinosaur itself is around 20$, 30$ for the whole thing would never happen. I agree that 50 is a bit much though, 40$ would be just about right in my opinion.
Gosh the printing for the skin tone on the legs is really bugging me, like why couldnât they just use duel molding
I bought it for $40
Owen is Legos 2021 angry clone
Lego legs representing shorts NEED the printing on the side. It looks so bad, like the 60s Batman fig from 76188 60s Batmobile
Hi jang long time no see
$20 for a lego dino... But you can buy toy ones that are larger with more features for as much.
Carnotaurus little to oversized
The scar is very distracting/off to me on the dino. It looks like a Flood infection or something.
Apparently, Toro was confirmed to be male...
The fact the helicopter and Owen are even here is so dumb, I'd rather have had a small fence looking thing and like a scientist or something or another one of the characters like the scared kid whatever his name is
I've been listening to the Terrible Lizards podcast with Dr Dave Hone, and ever since it's been hard to look at these Jurassic Park sets the same way. I highly recommend if you're into dinosaurs!
If you could have one dinosaur in Lego form, what would you want (and why is it Spinosaurus)?
Because Spino.
@@JANGsLEGOreviews based.
Me lo puedes regalar
the series is good, the Lego sets don't do it justice. Lego could have done so many cool things but instead we get a few overpriced sets where we can pick out the good figures from the team
and a few good buildings along with a lot of unnecessary things that don't even appear in the show and just raise the price.
Im so happy they made an unofficial lego crossover. A unsc spade with not Logan paul and star lord
I have the original carnotaurus and I think the og is better than this toro
Annoys me that LEGO uses generic carnivore arms for Carnotaurus when Carnotaurus arms are infamously completely vestigial stumps and are positioned toward its body and not forward. It's like the most recognizable feature of Abelisaurids.
This isn't too dissimilar from the depiction in the show, though (Jurassic World is not realistic to current paleontological understandings, which are in turn impermanent and continually updated).
The body and legs are all wrong too, but it's Lego so it's expected that they reuse parts. If they made accurate moulds for all the dinosaurs the sets would probably be twice as expensive.
@@JANGsLEGOreviews In this case, I understand that Jurassic World represents its Carnotaurus this way and things not being true to life is a theme of the series. I just want my featherless kiwi stumps Carnotaurus.
Though if you'll excuse a bit of a tangentially related rant: I understand how fluid fields of science work in terms of what can be said with confidence, but I do feel like past a certain point the use of the idea that things are always in flux to justify the use of long-outdated or just plain inaccurate information can be a bit of a cop out. (You're right here, I worded my original comment too strongly, just getting something related off my chest) Especially when the counter-information has only been further confirmed over time rather than challenged. Sorry I have an amateur interest in linguistics so I see people frustratingly throw their hands up and say "we can't possibly know so why bother!" a lot even when they focus on accuracy otherwise so I have feelings about that. Like sure there's more variation than we can ever possibly account for but it's not like reconstructions are just complete shots in the dark either. It feels like half the time I hear historical linguistics brought up by someone without an interest in it it's to say something that suggests the past in that sense is completely inscrutable and it's a bit demoralizing.
@@leetri it would seem as though Lego did not want to create any new parts for the dinos this year so they ended up just reusing dinos that we have got before.
Video title so long
Offset to the left? No, that is even more inaccurate! Should be offset to the right!
In Jurassic World LHD trucks are used, so that's what's accurate to depict.
@@JANGsLEGOreviews Oh I see. I am a South Afrikan so that is why I was confused
These sets are a terrible value
Throwaway helicopter đ, throwaway Owen Grady, ok military vehicle, good dinosaur. Bad price. Just your average LEGO set in these modern times
Sammy is one of my favourite characters, so I'm glad the minifigure did her justice. But Kenji is a victim of whitewashing & I'm not happy about that.
Thatâs pretty much how his skin tone is in the show
