- Our Allis Chalmers 7000 and Allis Chalmers 8030 both have issues after being run through the shop for annual maintenance. The Allis Chalmers 7000 has a leak in the metal hydraulic feed line for the hydraulic pump. The Allis Chalmers 8030 alternator has failed completely and is no longer even producing voltage at higher engine RPMs. This failure happened in the last video when you saw us rolling our hayfield. Long story short we are brazing the hydraulic line on the Allis Chalmers 7000 and replacing the alternator on the Allis Chalmers 8030
