I use that seat pad ALL THE TIME!!! It's been a game changer! I've started doing a travel journal and often times the good rocks or benches can be wet. With the seat pad in the backpack I know I'll have a clean dry spot to sit regardless of the weather the night or day before. I thought it was silly too at first, and now it's a must for me.
Thanks for sharing your insights! 🤙

Good bag if you’re looking for something simple like a jansport but better quality and materials. I’m with Tom though unless it’s a day pack I need some more organization.
Thanks for watching 😃

Have one of these and it really could use a bottle compartment because sometimes I’ll only have a laptop and the bottle in the bag and it swings around uncomfortably. Other than that it’s a nice bag.
I have been waiting for a review of this bag for awhile. I ended up going with the Raven 28, mainly due to accessibility for purchase.
And after watching your review, for my use I know I made the right decision.
Thanks for watching 😃
-Eric
Can't go wrong with Raven!
Serious love-hate relationship between you and the bag 😁
😂😂😂
Haha, Tom looked so disappointed he had to review this bag while the other staffers get the good stuff 😂
Vardag 28 has almost the same external dimensions and has a separate computer compartment, a side pocket and two front pockets instead of one.
Will a 17 inch laptop fit in the laptop compartment?
Nice review! The coolest and best Fjallraven packs never seem to get any coverage: Bergtagen, Abisko Hike, Abisko Friluft, Kaipak, Stubben, Keb, Lappland Hike etc. Can we review these high-end FR bags since they have been released for years?
Thanks for the suggestions! I’ll pass them along 😃
-Eric
I have the 16 in an orange color
Is there a bag like this with a trolley sleeve? A Simple bag in UK
@F L yeah I watched the video thanks. I was asking in general, in UK not seeing backpacks like these with a trolley sleeve
I don’t know for sure. However. A seamstress should be able to add one for you to whatever bag you fancy. 😊
Hi! What is the color of the unit you reviewed?
Deep Forest 🌲 😊
Swedish logo! 🤣😂 😊
it looks too basic for its price. thanks for the review!
Thanks for watching! 😃
The seat pad walks a fine line between ridiculous gimmick and unique feature.
it's extremely common in scandinavia. it's called a sitteunderlag (literally: underthing-on-which-one-sits) and goes with the outdoorsy ethos of the company
Not if you're in soggy Ireland - believe me...
3:34 Ah yes. Us in Sweden are also quite fond of the Swedish Logo.
