    I have this in the waxed canvas variety and I love it way more than I thought I would. Just to note, I have a 15" thicker gaming laptop - and it does not fit. I would not recommend this for anyone with a 15" laptop wanting to put it in the laptop compartment. The quality and comfort of this bag definitely converted me to a Goruck fan. (subsequently purchased two more Gorucks!)

    Thank you very much for a wonderful detailed review. After using multiple coffee mugs from starbucks to Contigo I was shopping for a travel mug with a SIMPLE LID. I did not want any groves in the lid where coffee residue collects. I found this Owala mug but the website did not have many pics to decide. Your review helped me take the final decision. Thanks a lot.

    To keep the round zipper pulls from jingling use the round key covers, get the key covers online or local hardware store. The key covers come in multiple colors.😊😊

    I believe Eigg, to the Scots, is pronounced like the word 'Vague' but without the "V" or 'Plague' wothout the "Pl" I like the bag. The strap looks a little thin though.

  • @DaemonViews

    "large for it's size" is only relevant in comparison to what it can fit. Like is the bag 21 l and very large for 21 l. Or does it fit a lot more than 21l? Because that's an important distinction. Would have been nice if you made that. Also how long did you talk about not remembering the pockets? Like how is that relevant? They are on opposite sides. Not right next to each other.

    I loved this line until I needed to replace the wheels, it was after warranty, and the way they are designed makes it almost impossible to do yourself. They have instructions on their website that don't apply to the maxlite. There's no interior zipper so you can't get the wheel off without cutting the interior lining, unlike other models. Very disappointed because I wanted this to last.

  • @eddy3011
    @eddy3011 Před dnem

    To me the most distinctive feature of the bag is dual access with the zipper. The video just talks about it briefly and seems to spend more time talking about how you got it mixed up with the other pocket. I get that's your experience, but my experience was the review seemed disorganized and fixated on tangential details.

      This is typical of Pack Hacker reviews. They miss the forest for the trees when it comes to backpack design. Another example. This pack massively expands and the only blurb was "youre not gonna get that much"...

    This pack is pretty rectangular and looks big; and indeed, its dimensions per PH site are 19 x 14.5 x 7.5 in (48.3 x 36.8 x 19.1 cm). That puts it solidly in the "carry on" category. And yet, its stated capacity is only 21L - a mere 'personal item' bag. Wonder what gives?

    I’ve used the 20l version for 3 years commuting in Japan. If you have to take your bag off on a crowded train and hold it in front of you, these are fantastic since they are slim and have large handles. The black one also shows almost no wear.
