Why isn't this game on Steam yet? This is such a great game and highly overlooked.
+Jay 2015 used to be on steam the took it down dont know why and the game is not listed on the home sites of stainless steel studios nor activision :/ im lucky i have a hardcopy
Do you know of a way to get it to install on Windows 10? It wants me to insert the second disk and then just stalls.
SgtRevan That's why I switched back to Windows 7. It actually allows me to play games on it. Windows 10 is horrible with video games.

If you switch back to 7, it will surely work unless there's just something wrong with your computer.

As a huge Empire Earth 1 fanatic, i never knew about this one. I was having problems to run EE1 at my Win7 system and was searching for something when i found a picture of Dawn of The Modern World. When I heard it was build after EE1, I jumped to search and downloaded the ISOs. Dude... 80k pop limit ? Nice explosions and texture. The only thing i kinda regret is that you go only to WW2, while EE1 could go to modern wars. Still, i just loved it.

Age of Empires 2, Rise of Nations, Civ.3, Command and Conquer. Some of my favorite games when i was a kid.
Fun fact: StarCraft's Protoss were conceived based on the log of a travel through Great Britain.

I did not know Empire Earth had an expansion. Is the multiplayer for EE still populated would love to go back if they are still there?
I remember reading about this game in a gamer magazine and thought "I'm going to get this one..." - I still haven't played it.

Because of the Windsor royal house that rules in the UK, they come from the original House of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, from Germany, but changed the name to windsor because Germany declared war to the UK in WWII.
Soon as I see the game setup screen...AoE 2 nostalgia, lol.

the franks were a coalition of germanic tribes that took over what is now known as germany, france and the benelux states, after the decline of the roman empire. so today some "franks" live in france and some in germany (ca. from paris eastwards till 1/3rd of germany). both nations developed from the frankish empire, both used to claim to be the only real one

If they do, I hope they can increase the resolution. Oh, and expand the number civilizations which are pretty limited. Otherwise, it's quite a good game.

I still love this game even with the out-dated graphics, still fun to play with, used to abuse the paratrooper planes for UK and drop them on the AI's base and wreck havoc fun times!.
The building artwork is really like Age of Mythology tho

Crendor have you played Rise of Nations? It's my favorite strategy and its been hinted that its being re-released to Steam like Age of Empires is.

my very first rts... i played this loads as a young lad and i am surprised that i understood (sorta)i was doing since english is'nt my main language and i was 9
Yup, and the radioactivity left behind damages units and can destroy trees in the blast radius among other things. I love the units and abilities and graphics in this game, so much so that is replaced my love for Empire Earth. But I wish it had as many ages as Empire Earth: Art of Conquest. I liked Empire Earth 2 but it had too many limitations on buildings and units and was mainly territorial warfare.
Please FUCKING make this a series... please... oh god please.....
