I just smile
Finally someone who knows how to drive a compass trailhawk. Every auto "journalist" will put it in rock mode assuming it's the most off road worthy mode even when they are driving on mud or other slippery surfaces and wonder why the wheels won't spin and the vehicle wont make it up a simple hill. Rock mode is really aggressive with the abs and sand and mud mode are much better on slippery terrain.
Really great videos. As a fellow compass owner and painter, I am inspired by your adventures. Curious what lift kit/spacer/tires are on the compass? How badly did they affect fuel mileage?

I have the exact same compass in black, what tires did you have on for that trail? The stock tires I hate , they are not good even on lightly snowy roads up here in upstate ny. I am looking to get toyo open country AT III 's eventually. How much did the 2 inch lift cost? And where did you get the spacers? Love your videos, thank you for posting them!
Question do you air your tires down slightly during these extended duration runs. I have a similar size tire in a BF Goodrich and I was wonder if it made a lot of difference airing down 5-10 lbs

You are so right. Got to make that Selec-Trac computer work with the terrain. It is a really cool system when it's used correctly.

right now I run 245/65 17 BF Goodrich K02s using 1" wheel spacers so they clear the shock mounts.

I dropped them down to about 20 psi in the off road parks. Out on the farm I just leave them at 32 psi

Thank you! The tires are 245/65 on the stock 17s and I had to put on 1 inch wheel spacers so they would fit properly.
