The Fijian Drua will play Super Rugby finals for the first time in their history, after a terrific second half in Suva helped see off the Queensland Reds, who now have a nervous wait ahead of them to see if they’ll feature in the playoffs in 2023.

It just shows that despite the already huge contribution the Pacific Island nations have made to rugby, they have a lot more to offer. What a well deserved success this team is and they play such an exciting game. Awesome Fijian Drua!
It was raining cats and dogs all day, the price of tickets remained comparatively high against our economic capacities, but Suva STILL showed up to give Drua one heck of a home ground advantage. The atmosphere was electric. I wouldn’t want to be any team playing Drua on their home ground in a do or die qualifying match in Suva. We want more home games Super Rugby. Bring more games home to the birthplace of flair rugby.
Talk to the organisers about the price collectively something can be done about this. Same in Australia $25 including transport fares included saw on the tv the other day. Check it out

A sound win. Games like these, played at home, are vital for young Fijians wanting to become professional footie players and coaches. Money and finance 'nous' needed at grass-roots in Fiji.

1. Fiji Drua appear to have bigger crowds at home than any of the othersides in the tournament, end of, unless it is Crusaders Vs Chiefs as a one off example, always packed Fiji Drua at home, always exciting to watch

I think they should've brought in a samoa team that is based in samoa filled with samoan based players. But samoa is need of huge development so it will take time.

Other stadiums around the country may need upgrades to be on the same standard as the ones in Suva and Lautoka, in addition to 4k TV cameras and sound systems.

Moana Pasifika are a disgrace. They are just another NZ franchise feeder for the all blacks. If it was really a pacific team they would pick local players from Tonga, Samoa and the pacific.

@@Anonymous.13342 Tonga and Samoa need to develop their players straight from the islands grassroots, rather than relying more on ex NZ club-players to join Moana Pasifika hence why It's easy for NZRU to grab players from the club. Whereas Fijian Drua found their own way through Australia's NRC comp and majority of the players were of Fijian nationality playing straight from the Fijian Skipper Cup comp, luckily they made it through to the Super Rugby comp last year.
Moana is not a disgrace. You a disgrace in fact they handed Drua their place in the quarter-final with a deliberate wrong kick in the final minutes here in Fiji.
