Funny I noticed the footage improvement right when James said so. Looks great! Great content again… I have bought a few things from Temu and haven’t been too disappointed yet.
I use any grade A balls i can buy for a decent price from Facebook marketplace. But last month I did buy new a triple dozen bundle of Mizuno RB566 balls, just because it said they were good in cold conditions, and can offer more carry by extending the flight beyond the apex, and they are decent and are really durable for the price. Realistically though, for a high handicapper, a golf ball is a golf ball, we don't want to spend almost £4 a ball to lose a few a round
I have been playing Snell golf balls for the last 3 or 4 years. This year, I got 5 dozen Snell MTB Prime balls for about $130 USD. I play indoor golf in the winter, got them in November, and I am still playing with the first sleeve. I play in a league once a week and my buddy and I play an additional 3 rounds on selected courses (simulated of course) each month, so these balls have more than a dozen rounds on them. So far they are not getting chewed up by the wedges and short irons, they spin really well and go just as far as any of the premium balls I've played.
I’m with you there mate, I love the Snell ball and I’ve just taken possession of 5 boxes for the summer season and beyond, if I don’t lose one they easily do 2 rounds plus
Would love to see you test a/pearl grade lake balls Vs brand new balls - they're more affordable and would be interesting to see if performance is actually lost
I just purchased several dozen of the Seed SD-01 balls based on you & Chris's review and performance on your Next 100 series. I've played one round with them and quite liked the feel and results. I had been playing the Callaway ERC Soft and the Vice Pro balls. I don't really trust TEMU based on some other reviews of products they sell.
PGM makes quality stuff. It used to be a lot cheaper in price though, prices have been creeping upward in the last couple of years. But I've been playing a few rounds with the PGM Soft 2 balls and actually found them to be quite workable, a dozen for $15 USD.
James , need your help, been using PROV1 balls , are they going to help me with distance on a wet day in the UK, in other words what ball is the best , in your opinion, for winter conditions , never mind the price, cheers bro
I’ll play almost anything other than Srixon, for some reason if I use a Srixon I’ll lose it within 3 holes. Only exception was a Z star I found I had that for two rounds before it disappeared. With the horrible winter conditions we have had where a plugged / lost ball is too common I use cheaper, used and scuffed balls in my bag. I have found a few Slazenger V300 and these perform well. I have about 4 dozen brand new vice, Kirkland, TP5’s waiting for the spring/summer
I applaud your campaign to make golf more affordable. Have you ever made a comparison between premium used, reconditioned, lake, etc. They are often sold cheaply, have the look and brand but do they still perform?
Have you ever done the "float" test where you out the ball in salty water and see if the weight is centered? To me that is the biggest part is the ball centered. Obviously, what its made of and how firm it is i cannot test lol
The age old comparison. Which ball to use. Do found balls, premium balls, lesser expensive balls are better / just as good. What should you pay for a golf ball?
Tend to buy balls from reputable online golf retailers. Can generally pay under £3 per ball which i'm happy with. Have found a couple of Wilson balls on my golf course and was super impressed and consider them for next purchase.
I never buy balls, I invested £25 into a Callaway 15 foot extending ball retriever and a banging UV light. The extending ball retriever gets me lake balls other players simply can't reach with their puny 10 footers. Size really does matter. Also if I'm upto it after a round of golf at the end of the day I'll walk an extra hole or two and find balls with the UV light. Typically 40-50 plus whatever I pull from lakes during the round. I keep the premium balls for myself like Pro V1, Chromesoft and TP5, the rest I give away. Forget expensive balls, buy these two items and never worry about cost or balls again.
I have a subscription with Piper golf through their website. Great feel and the Greens spin less off the driver than any ball I've ever played. They're cheaper than premium ball because they're direct to consumer. Give them a review! They sell a variety pack for cheap.
Well, I guess that’s others opinions… but as a scratch golfer, if they work good enough for me and haven’t effected my handicap then I’ll stick with them for $14.99 a dozen 😁⛳️ Played Vice Pro Plus and AVX before the Kirkland. To each their own…
Since you’re on Temu, I’ve been debating myself to do a review on the ping g430 look alike, and the wedges and putters and irons. But I think your reviews would be much better.
I bought a 3 ball pack of the PGM Golf Balls. I found for me, they hit farther than most balls. Not sure about the TP5s that I really love, but they have become very expensive. The only difference was around the green. The wanted to roll a long ways on the green and were a little hard to control. If I spent time with them I am sure I could learn to control them. But would take some work on the faster greens.
Plenty of budget options non Temu. Walmart in US had $20 Tour soft and Q star tour brand new a dozen. Found options online or local are $1 a ball here for Prov or other pro balls. The others are 2 for $1
I'd rather play 150 times a year and form an opinion based on what I find fellas; I haven't bought a ball in 4 years. My friend hit a skier 100 yards straight today, which we couldn't find. I'm pretty sure the earth is going to present a fairly pristine ball back soon. I find a lot of Srixon balls, which reassures me I'm not a great golfer. Have you done a video on the ball limiting change? I think it's mental. There's many billions of balls kicking around, already (I probably have 50; I don't want any more). Come 2030 we suddenly have to pay to hit lesser ones? Who's benefiting from this change of rules? I'd be interested in your opinions. Mine is I enjoy finding golf balls (some more than others..)
I’ve been using Vice Pro, just found a Sam’s Club that have the double dozen for 40.00 dollars, on the website they are 49.99 and all other clubs here in Las Vegas. Just happens to be in this one club they are a 10er less. Can’t beat them at that price
In private rounds I play the kasco Zeus impact 3. They are smaller and lighter (44gr). I gain with them 20 yards with a swing speed of 75mph. This is really crazy. Easy launch. Average stopping power. Those balls going miles. I feel like Tiger 🏌️
Black dot logo overrun pro v1 and pro v1x is best value. They are brand new logo balls that weren't used at corporate and tour events. Titleist blacks the logo out on them when sold, they cost $2.50 per ball if bought in 6 dozen quantity or $2.25 per ball if bought in 25 dozen quantity.
i bought some of them caiton gaz reveiwed i think what you need to remember is these sights like ali express and temu sell counterfit goods so how do we know there legal its my guess they maybe them illegal straight long balls that are re stamped lol
Most of us are disappointed by the distance the ball goes in the winter. Various reasons are given - denser air, no run on the ball, too bundled up with clothing etc. but what about the balls themselves. Most plastics get harder when cold so what is the difference between a ball at 0 C straight from the bag on a frosty morning and the same ball on a warm day? Should we all be playing softer balls in the winter or carry a spare ball in the pocket with a handwarmer so at least the Tee shot is with a warm ball (and is this legal?) Can you do a test to see the difference?
I play the OnCore Elixir and have been testing the Vero X1 you should test these golf balls they preform great for me. Also if you are a veteran or first responder they offer a discount

PGM is actually a very popular brand of value in China. I used to have one of their 7 irons and practice my swing in the dorm room. For that reason, no one except starving students buy them.
Honestly I spend about a hour after everyone leaves my local course and find balls in the woods .. in a hour I usually have a few dozen proV1’s and Calloway balls … this week looked and found 55 balls in 30 mins 😂
I guess it’s a moot point because where I live I doesn’t get too cold, but I am a Vice Pro player all year round. I generally wait for the 6 dozen for the price of 5 deal and buy in bulk for the year. They suit my game. Perhaps that’s a variable that needs a couple of videos dedicated to discovering. Obviously the BEST ball on the market isn’t going to suit everyone, in fact it can be extremely detrimental to their game. Could make for great content. Golfzon testing with an “average” golfer testing several balls and getting some numbers.
Value for money, srixon marathon soft!! It goes further than pro v1 for me. Im a newbie and high handicap so cant really say about green control etc. Cheap as chips as well!!!
I would love someone to test used golf balls. I buy ProV1x for $20 Canadian per dozen. I hand pick them and honestly I do not see any difference from new.
I find it easier just buying grade A pro v1s etc from the local golf ball collector.. at 1.50 a ball, I don’t care about loosing the odd ball or forgetting to pick up my provisional’s 🤦🏽♂️ Plus it’s a great way to test out a decent selection of balls without paying 50 quid a box
I noticed several things while you were testing the Temu golf ball. Several times you used your partners driver instead of yours, was there a reason for that? As a viewer I feel much better about any test when I can see the results or at least the testing myself. You stated that in the indoor testing the Pro-V tested out better and you put up the numbers which means we can only take your word for it. Also, on the final hole you and Chris played you both drove the green and had eagle putts....not sure if I have ever seen you both do that even while using your preferred golf balls!
I played 27 holes like that the other day in torrential rain, losing 6 out balls just because they disappeared in the mud 4 (!) of which on the fairway. I got a measly 45 Stableford points and STILL managed top-10. Winner had 54 points. Anyway, I think the other ball Chris Martin had, the one that looked like the TM Tour Edge, is a better ball.
James please enough trying to beat Titleist ProV1 , next time you visit the states go north to the Titleist plant in Massachusetts. I would have a problem with buying something like that ball. I’d rather play Kirkland ball than some china knock offs. Would they be conforming? I get inexpensive but there are good balls for a reasonable price. I have access to Dick’s Sporting which carry the Maxfli I like playing.

Ball striking masterclass from chris again on the first. Good job he’s a short game expert. Great video again lads 👌🏻
I would love for yall to try the new callaway supersoft splattered. Some have said the formula has changed and that new alignment setup looks amazing
Seed SD01 and SD02 have replaced the ProV1 and 1x in my bag. So good and great value
Always top quality content, helps the everyday golfer find good deals
Why the not so subtle digs with Gary promoting golf in Pakistan? I think it is awesome that he is opening up that area of the world to golf.

OnCore elixr or vero x1. I have the OnCore membership. I love these golf balls. The price and the quality are absolutely outstanding!!
Inuse callaway supersoft. Gonna try the wrc soft this year. Like the trufeels but not with the putter. Love them off the tee and irons tho.
James, where is your Toulon putter, I used to see you roll so many in with that.
Srixon Marathon Soft less than £1 a ball from Sports Direct are my go to winter ball

Without club head speed and smash factor it's difficult to analyze the efficiency of the ball. Spin and other parameters do help
Should have tried the Caiton golf balls that Gaz was loving. Said they outplayed the Kirkland at a bargain price. ⛳️
I actually bought them and I'm very surprised with them. They feel like they should be super hard but actually play soft 🤷♂️ well worth £15 a dozen
During winter I tend to use Srixon Distance (30 Handicap) but I find they cut up really easily
Try the Titleist Trufeel. My go to for winter as a 10 handicap, and I’ve been using them since I was a beginner 30 handicapper in 2019!
Not sure how you manage to cut up Srixon Distance!? They're like rocks.
Dude, sells used prov1's in the parking lot of one of the golf courses i go to. I grab a few usually.
I know you like the AD333, so how about a test of the new Q-Star Tour and AD333 (when you can get them).
I use the Costco ball. Haven't tried the latest edition yet.
What’s thoughts on lake balls?
Id like to see a test of some Strata Tour Ultimate balls. If we lived on the same continent, I'd send you some 🤙
I'm carrying a few bruised ribs at the moment and didn't need Chris making me laugh so hard! Oh it hurt so good! Eagle eye Rob 👁 😅

I had a PGM wedge before, the one with colour black, blue or gold. That was my favorite wedge until I lost it
If you can putt for birdie on each hole with them. I would use them
