Valdex - gonna be way too expensive. He'd be nice, but would just cost too much in prospects.
Eflin - Hell yeah! Go for it!
Scott - Hell yeah! Go for it!
But, like mentioned, these guys are probably gonna be in high demand. Probably end up being a bidding war, and that would cost way more in prospects than would be rational. So get what they can without getting stupid.
I'm Probably wrong, it's been known to uappen., but I kind of like Mr. Eflon (Sp). it seems more Cardials' like fora move. to be honest, I like the aspect of all rhee. Mr. Scott in the bullpen would be NICE as well. I'm not holding my breath on Mr. Valdez. I do think that IF they do make a trade, it probably should be pitching. I don't often say that. I'm kind of torn between strting and bullpen. Finding a good star makes more sense to me because you can bring up a kid or make a current pitcher a bullpen guy. Finading a viable starter is yet another thing altogetehr.

Cal Quantrill would be for sure, but I doubt the Royals who are playing good ball would trade Brady Singer.

Mo is a bargain bin trader Joe.. he won’t go after some of the big names like everyone would like.. this isn’t MLB the show.. so think realistically.. Cal Quantril Tyler Anderson are two names that come to mind.. Tarik Skubal would be the sell the farm guy to get but honestly if Rangers sell… Eovaldi would honestly be the guy to really look into imo
The Cards entire farm isn’t good enough to land Skubal. There’s very few teams that could swing a trade like that. Orioles, Dodgers, Cubs and maybe the Red Sox.
I would add Tarik Skubal and Romel Blanco.
Hitting wise the Cards can try to trade for one of the following== Kyle Tucker, Yordan Alvarez, Riley Greene , Brent Rooker.

I will pass on both starters the era in the 4s.are to high to compete in the playoffs. Scott sounded good for the bp but again we need another number1 or a2 starter with Gray in those playoffs if we get there. Il save my trading chips for that type. Our pitching is more than adequate. What we need is one or two solid bats.
We have nowhere to play them my guy we need a 5th starter to solidify the rotation with nootbar and edman hopefully coming back sooner rather than later our roster is basically full unless we were to trade goldy which I'd be all for tbh

Michael Lorenzen should be on Mo's target list, if Lorenzen will leave Texas after signing with them as a free agent. The Rangers have underperformed this season, and may sell.
We are not on Philadelphia's or the Dodger's doorstep in this year's playoff picture, JD. It doesn't make sense to go get a rental like Tanner Scott. If the Cardinals like him, wait and bid for him in free agency, so we don't give away the future. Scott is the only one of the 3 on your list who isn't showing stats going downhill, so he's the only one I would have interest in.
Yeah Lorenzen and Eovaldi would be two guys I’d for sure to look at but the Rangers will want something nice and I don’t see Cards parting with anyone they’d want

I am gonna spoil your day, Without a big resurgence from Nado and/or Goldy, this is just a .500 team. I have been against trading them, but it is 1/2 yr. in. We don't have enough talent on the Farm to trade anyone. Of the top 10 prospects only 3 of them are above AA level. Now there are some of the injured list that are above that ,but our system is broken. No Chips to trade. Who are you willing to trade? Look who comes up when help is needed. Walker hasn't improved enough , Scott isn't ready.

I think the Cards should be sellers of Jo Jo Romero, Giovanny Gallegos and maybe Hensley. Hensley is living by a tread but the other two are ready to crash back to Earth, and soon. Read the tea leaves. Skenes, Pittsburgh Pirates, is the only pitcher to crave. Montgomery and Scheels both are having terrible years that cost some team 20 million a year. Go get Skenes if you have to give up the farm. He's Bob Gibson.
