Crusty grind band, Bloody Phoenix, from Los Angeles, California, USA ( active from 2001 until 2015) covers the famous Italian resistance song "Bella Ciao". Lyrics (Italian and English translation) on screen.
The original Partisan song was based on a folk tune composed in late 19th century and was sung by the anti-fascist movement active in Italy between 1943 and 1945.
Track taken from 4​-​way split LP with Lychanthropy (Cz - grindviolence) Skunk (Can - crust/mincecore) and Disturbance Project (Sp - grind), that was released on July 2016 by Dead Heroes Records ‎and Deep Six Records.

Qui un canto corale diventa l'urlo disperato di un uomo solo. Dice molto sull'evoluzione di un certo mondo politico, passato da pratiche comunitarie a pratiche identitarie esclusive ed escludenti.
