"Bella Ciao" - Italian Partisan Song

  • ¨Bella ciao" ("Goodbye beautiful") is an Italian folk song that was adopted as an anthem of the anti-fascist resistance. It was used by the Italian partisans during the Italian Civil War between 1943 and 1945 in their struggle against the fascist Italian Social Republic and its Nazi German allies. "Bella ciao" is used worldwide as an anti-fascist hymn of freedom and resistance. The song has much older origins though in the hardships of the mondina women, the paddy field workers in the late 19th century who sang it as a protest against harsh working conditions in the paddy fields in North Italy.

@@CMLL.7350 i wonder why that happens to be the case? might be because capitalists privatized and profiteered the living shit out of those things. communism and the progressive left doesnt inherently engender a social system that fucking generates food out of thin air, prints a ton of money, or pumps raw material out of the earth's crust. those things take time to organize under a system like that, and when powerful people work against such a system that they see as a threat to their own power, naturally theyre going to sabotage and attempt to dismantle it. a socialized system is one where people all have a stake in these aspects of society equally, rather than a handful of rich folks over 99% of others who actually work, grieve, and die for some of the things that are necessitized by society. seriously, can't you piece two and two together instead of rely on the same old generalizations you were taught in grade school? it's an answer to a problem, the problem being classical capitalism.
