Good comeback win for the Bears. I like how Fields didn't get rattled and played better after a horrible start.
More like the 49ers defense, they have penalties and left pettis wide open
Hats off to the refs for knowing their rule book... not too often that the toweling off the turf scenario comes into play😄🦓
@@robertamaya8597 Bro, tell us how we know you are casual fan. lmao... You realize they still have to make the reads and see it. Pettis was 3rd option on that play. He could have easily overlooked that. That pass was a clear example on the growth of Justin Fields. Because if he decided to go to the #1 or 2. he wouldn't have even looked down field. But yea, we get it. Ball go BRRRR man catch. i understand that's your knowledge of the game. also, your defense played decent. you held a team to 19 points. It's the fact trey and the offense were atrocious
@@robertamaya8597 fields scrambled for about 6 seconds to create that opening
More like congrats on scrambling and drawing penalties. The bears have nothing to be proud of. The 49ers and the refs gave that to you

It's great to see a game that feels so retro - played on grass, waterlogged, lines barely visible, open air stadium and crowd at the start of Autumn. Da Bears - everyones favourite team outside of the USA :)
unfortunately profits are everything in the current world, so in a few years we might be playing in 32 multifunction domes that do everything but create a real football atmosphere
@@memememe908 That's why I am not happy about the Arlington Park agreement - the soul lives in Soldier Field. I lived in Dekalb IL for a good while, I am from Manchester UK.
Everything you ascribe to the "atmosphere" is nothing but nostalgia that makes you overvalue certain characteristics, the "good ol' days" mentality. Older generations probably felt that way with the introduction of helmets. Young generations will feel that in the future. The sport is still fun to watch. Also, the Bears should get out of crime-ridden Chicago as soon as they can
Hell yeah! I can’t wait for the Arlington Park stadium.
It's still technically summer.
I went to my first bears game today and got absolutely poured on to the point where my feet were underwater inside my shoes. But it was all worth it, GO BEARS!

I'm glad someone mentioned it lol the crowd popped off so hard when they saw him catch it. Chills man... chills 🥶
@@Gymshoe93 it was pretty cool hearing it in person too. Everyone was kinda silent for a moment and the moment they saw pettis catch it everyone went nuts
The Bears players. Competed like Men. Celebrated like Children. Priceless.
It needs to be stressed here that the Bears played disciplined football today, as evidenced by committing only 3 penalties in the entire game, and none at all in the 2nd half, the half that mattered. The 49ers OTOH committed 12 for 99 yards, a number of which resulted in some key 1st downs for our team. The Bears showed this same discipline in their three preseason games, so it was nice to seem them carry this over to when the games count. That's a credit to the teams' coaching staff!!
You can’t blame the refs but… watch the game again. The Bears are holding the whole game and meanwhile the Niners are getting called for every little touch.
There was a offensive PI called on the Niners early where he barely touched his Jersey. Then when the tables were turned the bears WR literally hung in the Niners DB’s arm to prevent a pick and no call.
Same with holding calls.
@@Libertarian_Neighbor a wise man once said there’s holding on every play, just depends if they call it or not. We could sit here and talk about the calls that they missed on the niners too (multiple horse collar tackles/ hands to the face) but the fact is the refs mostly let them play. The only thing that got the niners in trouble were the penalties after the whistle

Jets fan here, it’ll be interesting watching the top four QBs in the 21 draft class. Trevor Lawrence, Zach Wilson, Trey Lance and Justin Fields all have amazing potential and despite rocky first seasons for all of them, they are beginning to show their game. I don’t understand people already calling Lance a bust and Fields as the best QB out that draft. It almost always takes QBs at least two seasons if not more to start preforming. Be patient, I believe they will all be starters for most of their careers the question is which out of them will be able to win a ring?

But overall Fields is likely to be hurt WAY more than Jones throughout his career due to him being a mobile qb, so remember that, it's crazy how much can change in one year, in 2021 I said Mac Jones was the best rookie qb and that the Jags should've took him over Lawrence, but then Jones had a sophomore slump and Lawrence improved A LOT from his rookie year

Congrats to the Bears and Bear fans from a 49er Faithful for a well-played game. You guys hung in there and never gave up and took advantage of every great opportunity from our sloppy, undisciplined play. Justin Fields made things happen out of nothing when other QB's would've spiraled down. Kinda reminded me of Russell Wilson - never giving up, always making something happen. Comeback wins not only feel good, but are important for the team - it brings everyone together with confidence that they can do it again if they fall behind in some other game. Now you know you can dig down deep and climb out of a hole together. Comeback wins make winning teams and winning seasons by growing winning attitudes.
Very gracious of you Robert and nicely said! Our Bears don't have nearly the talent your 49ers have, but the team played hard and stuck together and the defense kept us in it during the first half while the offense struggled. I definitely like Justin Fields' mental toughness and "next play" mentality. He doesn't give up. Our new coaching staff has instilled some discipline which is helping us and, as you said, we took advantage of every opportunity. Being a team that doesn't have a lot of superstars (we have one - LB Roquan Smith, and two in the making - Justin Fields and WR Darnell Mooney), there's little room for error, but everyone played for their teammates and coaches and it worked out. In addition to taking advantage of turnovers and penalties, I think we dodged a bullet by you guys not having Kittle on the field. He would have been a great target underneath for Lance and his blocking ability is epic. Also Elijah Mitchell leaving the game half way through the second quarter with a sprained MCL didn't help the 49er cause. Those things add up. I know the 49er coaches and ownership needed to get Trey on the field, but I can't help but wonder if the outcome would have been different if Jimmy G had played. The guy just wins.
@@johncourtright1632 Yep, agreed. You guys have a bright future - building from the ground up and a new front office. Kinda inspiring for Bears fans, I'm sure. You think so wen the bears get a offline and wr cuz if it wasnt for the san Jose 49s choking you guys would have had 0. Cuz what offense do the bears really have I don't know what game you're watching my friend
He looked awful lmao. What’d he throw for, 100 yards? I personally wouldn’t put him in the top 25 starting qb’s
@@youngpatrick29 8-17 for 121 yards and 2 tds. Inexperienced WR's and Oline...running for his life all game, still pulled out the win. Btw - I didn't say he was a top QB right now after this game. I said he will be.
Team celebration at the end was cool AF👍
Good on the Bears. Really took advantage! when it mattered.
Bears #1 pick
49ers won 10 in a row
Jimmy Garappolo: “Playing QB in the NFL ain’t so easy.” 🏈
Yes but we seen games like this from Jimmy as well, he ain't too much better
People forget that he hasn't played alot. I think it's been like 500 snaps including college.
@@Ruben-yc4tr touché 👍giving up the 3 #1’s was my beef. That puts a lot of pressure on the kid.
@@batboy555 In my opinion they just played very conservative, maybe that's just Kyle's way of doing things when he's not sure where a QB is at, they should've let loose and let Trey make his mistakes, worked out fine for Fields once He figured he had nothing to lose, threw 2 tds right after that, and took more risk
@@Ruben-yc4tr people forget how usless the niners were before Jmmy started for them .This looks a lot like the niners I remember before he started for them. As a niners fan I don't think Trey is the answer I am not on the hype train.
So glad bo jack could finally redeem him self a little bit with that pick in the 4th that was huge we need that Eddie back! Not this 20 /21 Jackson give me sum of that 2018 Eddie jack that will be sweet
He's playing free safety again. That's where he belongs. 2020 and 21 he was playing box safety and couldn't play the ball hawk role. He also had 3 picks taken away from him last year with flags away from the play aswell as 4 he had his hands on. Really he wasn't as bad as people said he was.
@@matthewsadiwskyj763 that's true I remember the Carolina game 2 year ago when we still had fuller an fuller made a perfect timed hit on their receiver an the ball shot up an Eddie caught it an ran it back in for a td an they called a penalty
Even though fuller hit him at the exact second the ball hit the receiver so I definitely know whatcha mean
hopefully this is a sign of things to come for him
SF has a problem of forgetting that they’re still in the game after halftime
Bruh we need more 🍾celebrations like that in the sport it's such a great moment and great dub for the bears who started off slow but ended up finishing strong field's was dropping dots shout out bears 🐻got the win unlike my falcons
Hope this can be a start of a great team.
Bears Super Bowl? 🐻
@@zegobot9674 💀💀💀
@@zegobot9674 goin to far
The Bears played against a QB who couldn't even start for some college teams lol.
Lol. You better hope the bears get 95 yards called on their opponents every game.
CHI gets a good win to straight the season. Fields showed some flashes of being a good QB. CHI fans when it's all said and done you might have a good one for years to come. Congrats on the win 💪.
Lol no
@@sethhoward9300 madddd 🤣
@@sethhoward9300 I don't what you're laughing out loud for.
@@ChicagoDefense mad at? His stats were not good and the 49ers are not a good team. How does that make him “good” for the coming years ?
@@IllMatic97 I’m laughing because that wasn’t a good game
Back here after JF1 is gone, thank you for everything man. Peak vibes ❤
Eddie read that play like a jedi. That pick was the turning point.
THE 49ers CAUGHT THESE BEAR PAWS 👊
calm down buddy
More like Trey Lance did
I said all off season I didn't care how good the offense was as long as the defense returned to form. Been Bears fan since McMahon was still in grade school, defense defense defense.
Great to see them hold the 49ers to 10 points, especially considering the field position they had. Still nice to see the offense finally put up some points. Definitely happy with the win.
OG Bear fan!! I been a 49er since 1994 I was 5 yrs old…. Y’all did y’all thing OG that defense is a monster and Nate Fields made me shut up for a game😂😂
49ers had 150 more yards but those penalties screwed them. Defense still has hella issues.
@@Peepbrother the truth and I hate to admit it
Don't get ahead of yourself. Their opponents won't get 95 yards called against them every game. Bears pulled it off but it wasn't like they showed anything special. ANY team should win when their opponent gives up that many yards in penalties. Total lack of discipline by the 49ers.
It's easy to hold Try Lance to 10 points. Just consider yourself lucky that ''woke'' San Fran decided to go with affirmative action rather than Jimmy G!
I wonder how many reporters put ketchup on a hot dog? Never underestimate the Bears.
Fields looked good staying calm finding the right guy. But the real tell is if they hold there own at green bay
This is a classic NFL style game where the QB'S run as much as the RB's.
Second half bears is what we want to see against rodgers next week! Let’s go boys!! Bear down
Fields threw some nice balls in the second half. As a fellow Buckeye I am really happy to see him getting better and better.
You know football season is back when the bears get a flag for trying to dry the field 😂😂
As a Steeler fan, watching this highlight makes me happy.
They said the bears will only win 3 games they was dead wrong about this team. I know it’s early but the coaching upgrade is gonna have this team in games they shouldn’t be in. Maybe fields makes the plays down the stretch and wins those close games against good teams
Did you not watch the game? Did you see how bad the bears was ?? All the points came from the REFs
Same with Detroit they are a lot better then last year. If the eagles didn’t have hurts the eagles woulda been done.
@@jaybeastn604 cope
@@jaybeastn604 the Bears sucked yes, but the points were not from the refs they were from the trash 49rs.
@@matthewthemilkbender8095 they were from the trash 49ers and the refs
ReWatching the game back now, and ready for All-22 tmrw. The rookies looked GOOD
Once they actually started throwing down field they started doing something. The little screen and shovel passes weren't cutting it and were too similar to Nagy's offense.
