  • Step into the world of motorized bicycle restoration as I take on the challenge of fixing a 50cc bike for a customer, previously built incorrectly by another builder. This video captures the meticulous process of diagnosing, repairing, and enhancing a bike that was once a factory defect. From engine troubles to structural flaws, watch as I transform this two-wheeled mess into a reliable and efficient daily ride. Ideal for enthusiasts and aspiring mechanics, this is a tale of skill, patience, and the satisfaction of rescuing a bike from the brink of disaster!

    I like how in-depth you go with each build and share everything. Every engine is different, even if it’s the same engine. Great content.

      Thank you, I really appreciate that. I’m always worried I’m making it to “teachy” and boring by going to in depth. To be honest there’s so much more I want to explain But don’t want to slow the speed of the video up to much.

      Boy I don’t know, but I would bet I would have a couple different motors and handlebars and microphones still lol.But I would definitely not have as many laughs and smiles, so I would be monetarily richer but life poorer. So it works out well over all.

      Hey brother, thanks for watching. After these three days in July I work on it and just went all in last time I haven’t had it come back and he rides still constantly, so it’s running well still for a newbie rider on a lil 50 and crappy frame you know.

      Benny drives me nuts 99% of the time but got my back 100% so it works out. But yeah those things happen constantly lol. I keep a lot out so it doesn’t look like I’m making fun of him. Yo I totally wasn’t expecting a hole in the port, but once I found it everything else made way more sense of why it ran so lean all the time.

    If you don't have an O-ring that properly fits and seals, you can get away with using some well-placed electrical tape around the intake to get the seal that you NEED to do ANY kind of tuning to the carb.

  • @nothanksgoogle5879
    @nothanksgoogle5879 Před 6 měsíci

    Also, always make sure your getting a GOOD seal where the carb mounts to the intake (most sellers don't include an O-ring), without it, odds are it's letting additional air in AFTER the point of the venturi, and WILL cause A lean burn. It'll have you chasing your tail, trying to solve the lean condition with jetting, needle adjustments etc, when these kits come with carbs that are jetted very rich from the supplier. So if you're all the way rich on your slide needle, and still running lean, odds are you have an air leak somewhere.
